I explained in one of the videos why I don't use Silent Gear (the fps drops) and it's an issue that seems to have not been fixed since ATM8 unless I'm missing something. I've been a fan of silent gear for a long time so I'm hoping there's just something I'm missing that's causing it but I agree it's a VERY useful mod. :D

You definitely right but it's not about the armor rating but about scrapping. Just the epic scraps are worth more than anything else because you are better off using apotheosis to upgrade high tier gear ( allthemodium/refined obsidian/supermium) then you are using what spawns naturally.

I'm not sure because I've never seen it but I've been hearing a lot of good things about the mod so I'll need to look into how it functions. :D

that sounds like an almost as clumsy move as my usual moves like these that happen to me all the time

Staregate is a potal mod. The gates have there own adress (the numbers u see when u opend the gui). In the staregate series they travel to other planets with that. Look up Stargate SG1. Then there are other gates that have a larger adress be course they are further away, like the pegasus gate or the universe gate. U can put a computer (computercraft or cctweaks or open computers) on the gate and dail with that (its a manual dailing system), but u can also use the console u opend with the gui and numbers to dail to an other gate. Put in the adress (numbers) and push in the middle to start the dail. WARNING: dont stand infront of it when it opening, it dangerous and can kill u or mobs. When its opend, its safe to pass trough.

That's why I love "Easy Villagers" because I can just use their handy dandy menu to reroll em. The Emerald thing is also a fun way to do though so I'll have to check it out.

@@CreothinaMy first run-in with Gregtech was probably about MC 1.7.10, I had just gotten enough iron for an anvil, NEI showed vanilla, but it didn't work. Doing some research told me about Greg. Much more mining later, I made my anvil. Greg, Grrr. lol

😂 It worked out well while I used them then I decided to switch to stone torches and never had the issue again. Modded saves the day yet again with more options for the simple things in life.

You can also put bread in the furnace and it makes toast which is better

As you get further into the series you'll see I end up eating the bread then avocado toast so that's a good tip TY. :D (I also do the enchant removal as well)

For Ultimine you need to set a key in the controö settings. If you play it in a different Modpack, it can be that you dont have access to it at the beginning.

Mine is automatically on the ~ (Tilde) key above Tab so try that out first. :D

Some mod packs have it locked behind something. Ocean block has it set to be one of the trinkets. ( Ftb not curio) check the quest book if changing the key but I didn't work.

I mention in the video that I switched to my "normal" complimentary shaders because of visual glitches with the ones in the pack. I'm sorry you're having issues with it...hopefully you can get it figured out and make sure you have enough RAM allocated.

@@Creothina oh I must have missed the shaders comment, sorry. I have 8GB allocated from 16, maybe not the best set up but it worked until the last update. I still got the "Mod loading error" displayed when launching today at least 5 times. Hopefully the modders can look into this. Congratulations again Creo!! 🥳🥳

​@@GeekyMina8GB in a system with at least 12 is the recommended - I also had major lag issues and gave up as well - it's likely the modpack or both pack & 1.20, because I have other 1.20 packs and they aren't having these issues at all (still got lag spikes but that's when I explore way too much in one sitting, restarting fixes that) Hopefully we get some optimization soon on this one, but it is a WIP so these issues are expected until it's more fleshed out.

I have an amazing community of people to talk to and I don't worry about making things perfect at all because the derpy stumbling around/frequent imperfections are all part of how my content is. :) I enjoy what I do and go with the flow and the way the videos are now is how they're always going to be. They're always going to be laid back chill videos people can play along with or just chill and watch and I know they won't be for everyone (which is fine because there's many different types of creators out there to suit different interests) but those that do enjoy them will have plenty to watch. I always listen to suggestions and tips/feedback and while I won't always do everything suggested I still appreciate that people take the time out of their day to comment. It's taken me a long time (I've been a content creator since 2016 even though I've only been posting to KZfaq for just over a year) of trial and error to figure out how I want my content to be and I'm happy with where I'm finally at and looking forward to continuing to make these videos for a long time because I've found what makes me happy and what style I enjoy doing. As for time lapses there are plenty of KZfaqrs who do those that are incredibly talented so if people would like to see that style they can go watch one of my fellow creators and their amazing videos. Mine are going to continue to be these slightly (and sometimes a bit more than slightly) edited creations that I'm proud of and incredibly grateful to be able to make in the first place. :D I also have an editor who works on my videos who already gives up a ton of his free time to help me so I'm not going to add hours and hours of more work for him to do so I'm exactly where I want to be but as I mentioned before I appreciate the suggestions and TY for the compliments.

Nonsense. Life mending is ridiculously good in any pack with ars nouveau. Use heal any time you need your stuff mended.

I only use curseforge so I recommend using that. :)

You may have already done this, but make sure you allocate enough memory for the game to run the pack; at least 8GB but not more than 12GB, depending on your total system RAM. Usually you don't want to allocate more than half your total RAM, but this pack might be an exception. You can do this in Curseforge (if you choose to use it) by editing the profile, or, in the game launcher before you start a new game. The default is 2Gb, I think. My system froze on first run coz I forgot to do change the 2Gb default. I'm running it with 10Gb allocated on a 32GB total RAM system. Runs fine.

@@Briahnalouise What Roger said and just be sure not to set too much RAM because your PC needs some to run other things. I also have 32 GB so I allocate 10 and since larger packs like this require at LEAST 8 GB (imo) make sure your system has enough to handle setting that much.

@@Briahnalouise In my case i have a 20 GB system (kinda weird i know) and i am running it at 10 GBs too and its running smoothly. I think allocating half of your RAM is the sweet spot while keeping in mind that the game requires at least 8 GBs.
