As i was watching this i was in survival i spent all my iron on the hoppers then a creeper snuck up behind me and all them hoppers disapeared

The thing i love about this build as that as you get more materials, you can just keep expanding it as much as you like. Awesome video, i was expecting you to have at least 500,000 subs.

You can improve this sorting machine by using 44 filter blocks and 1 of the block you want to sort!

This worked for me. Thank you for the tutorial! Side note, you can easily add more than 2 double chests for each item by repeating the hoppers facing into the chests figure for as high as you want, with the rest of the contraption above the chests. You can also expand downwards by simply adding more chests with hoppers facing into them from behind for as low as you want.

It took me 10 hours to build this and a auto gold/xp farm together costing so much resources but I’m happy to say it all works you earned my sub

You don’t always have to put a stack of the item which u want to sort into the hopper, one is enough when u put 41 filter items in the second place in the hopper

Water streams will help. If you were to make this on a grand scale the hoppers would cause the game to lag pretty bad! Just word of advice!

Me and some friends are playing some modded on Lan and its mainly things like quark so theres no routers or anything. This is gonna be helpfull.

I heard you can do like 44 (4x11) filter items and only 1 item you want to filter, so you dont have to use half of your resources to make it work. Is that true?

After building this, I noticed that it only works for one layer of chests. If I build this with multiple layers of chests (which should theoretically allow me to store more stacks of each item), once the bottommost chest is full, the items get stuck in the hoppers. How to fix?

What happens to the non stackable items? I’m using this build on a mob farm and swords normally drop, however they aren’t making it into any of the chests.

I must've done something wrong, but I can't find it. When I sort and try to put filler in the shown hopper, it fills into the chest and doesn't stay put in the hopper. :(

How easy for it to end up getting backed up? With only 23 open slots in your item filter free it seems like this can get overwhelmed quickly.

How do I make is so similar items go in the same chest? For example I don't want a chest designated for only yellow flowers, I want a chest that has all types of flowers in it.

So if you build this you need at least 41 total of resources to back it up? Like I would need to hold 41 diamonds in the hopper? Thatd take me awhile..

I can’t get the blocks to go in any chest but the bottom ones, once they fill up the blocks just go in the hoppers leading into the bottom chest, any clue how to fix this?

Hey owl! Luv your vids, but I have a problem. I play in MCPE and it is working for me but whenever the bottom double chest fills up, it doesn’t go into the top chest. I don’t know what’s going on so whenever I put cobblestone into it, it’ll just backup into the bottom chest hopper and won’t start going into the top chest. Please help

For the filter; do i need to have all four items renamed to lock the hopper?

I made mine and it is filtering, but about half of the items continue down the hoper line. Why do the pass there sorting chest?
