Tips, reduce the rendering distance to 6 chunks, if you don’t see any land around you, it is the good place to build

Great farm, but there are a few problems, read this if you haven’t built it yet. Tip number 1 It WONT work with optifine due to changes it raid mechanics I recommend just switching to sodium. Tip number 2 The villager must go on the NORTH side of the farm otherwise it wont work. Tip number 3 You will need a carpet to build it even though it wasn’t in the list. I had to go all the way back down and up again without a bubble elevator and find a nearby sheep which took me 1/2 hour. Tip number 4 The farm will be unreliable without the villegers job locked in Tip number 5 I recommend putting a lava source block at the top to deal with all of the garbage. Tip number 6 Yes it WILL work in warm deep ocean and cold deep ocean biome. Tip number 7 When they say to jump down at 5:55 PLEASE land in the water you will most definitely die. Thats all the tips i have but if you have more please put them in the replies. And if you have any more problems i might be able to help :) Edit: if this helped you please like so it can help as many people as possible. Edit 2: after 9 months of constant questions im not going to answer anymore, i often dont actually know how to fix people’s issues. Im no expert. I do know a bit about raid mechanics but at this point im mostly getting the same questions. Yes it will work in ANY deep ocean biome, but it has to be deep. If they’re spawning at the bottom, you have a Spawnable block The tutorial will show you where to put the carpet. You can figure out for yourself how to place the lava source block, as long as you don’t use Spawnable blocks it should still work. I recommend making a small glass platform. I’m so glad this helps so many people. Im just moving on to other things.

Thanks I was looking only today for a easy build to a raid farm.. This is great. I think I would make it just a resource based farm rather then trying to get xp. That way the witches cant heal the vindicators cause of the one hit .. Great farm.

IF THE RAID BAR DISAPPEAR AND NO MOBS SPAWN , READ HERE ! Make sure guys to check that the villager that you have placed at the bottom is in the north part , if not , just destroy the leaf thingy and build it again facing north , and reposition the hole to the water tunnel too , so that it makes sense with the new villager positioning.. it didn't work for me , and now its working incredibly well.. try it out and let me know If I helped someone

I used to build a similar version of Mysticat's easy raid farm close to a pillager outpost, but I love the simplicity of this one and being able to keep triggering the raid! Being over water, it's very friendly for early game!

I play on 1.20.4 and haven't tested this on other versions but if you trigger the raid, immediately go up, kill a pillager then go down quickly, you will get the hero of the village effect. I hope others find this comment since I could not find others talking about this.

Great design! This one edges out my favorite raid farm, the "simple" one from Ianxofour, since there's no redstone necessary, you get back to your village with the Hero effect, and you can restart it anytime. I made it in a hardcore world and it was wild to hear the vexes shrieking while they're caught in the boats.

Works perfectly! I did have trouble with the villiagar at the bottom and triggering raids but i think that was my own fault. I brought a villager with a different job locked in so that might have been it. I just replaced the composter with a brewing stand and it works fine. I also made a huge line of hoppers from the top of the farm connecting to the double chest all the way to the bottom for massive storage

if your farm is not working then just press f3 + g to see the chunck border the build is in one chunk is must and villager should be in the same chunk is must

Tip: you can use a chest boat on top to only have one raider (which will be the captain)! This is because chest boats only seat one entity and the first mob to spawn in a raid is always a captain.

This is a great XP farm also, I build this very early game, around 20-40 days and it makes enchanting so much faster and easier, emeralds are great for the villager trades and totems are fantastic for hardcore

you can still build this farm on 1.21 and u dont need boat on the top because bad omen is in bottles now and you can now store bad omen

wow i did not expect it to work this well on 1.20.1! just after a few minutes of completeing the build, i already have over half a double chest of loot! lots of totems and emeralds, and all the other things. its also kinda a gunpowder farm, which is useful for elytra rockets. you earned a sub and thanks to the creators of this design!

i was so scared of dying since im a hardcore player but honestly it worked pretty well the only thing i would change is add more torches to the bottom of the farm since mobs can spawn and make it harder to get in the bubble elevator giving the raiders more time to spawn vexes and stuff but overall pretty good

New (kinda) to Minecraft and that lava to cobblestone-tower trick was new to me. I've been making a stairway manually that looks exactly like that. Thanks for opening my eyes lol

If you jump down and it says "raid-victory" instead of starting a new raid, you jumped down to early. You need to give it a minute before going again.

excellent farm, also it work on 1.20. and above if you are wondering, and also bring a totem when you go to the raid leader location because if some pillagers stuck here, they can stunlock you to to dead

I was today years old when I learned you can bonemeal kelp so you don't need to worry about drowning.... So simple yet it eluded my thinking lol. Can't wait to make this farm!

HI, this farm works really really good, but i also REALLY REALLY recommend putting torches at the bottom so no mobs can spawn ( creepers spawned and blew up everything on the bottom part and killed my villager :c )

Works perfectly! But I think you should put some torches in the killing room because a creeper spawned and ruined the farm for me.

This is so good, and it can be easily done in a early game.

So I built this in my world! I died twice but it was worth it in the end. I died by falling down the killing tube. So I highly recommend having a water bucket in your inventory at all times.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, I have a hardcore world day 400+ without totems now i got so much totem! To people reading this add torches at the bottom and at the killing room also ravagers doesn't die instead they de spawn i think, when you go far enough the raid bar should be gone and the raid would stop when you come back the ravagers are gone but the pillager captain is sitting in the boat you guys can kill the pillager captain to toggle the farm again

This also works in an ocean biome not a deep ocean biome because I built this farm in it and it works. Great tutorial man.

RAID. I will try this version of the raid farm BUT I will use glass instead of leaves. I'm prone to accidents and leaves make it too easy to screw up. I'll also use a chestboat as it ensures only the captain will be there. And, from people in the comments, I'll follow the suggestion of ensuring the villager spot is on the north side. what happens to ravengers in this farm? do they just not spawn or are they supposed to be dying somehow?

If any is having problems with the mobs not spawning, I had the same problem. Make sure the villager is on the north side of the farm. That worked for me.

If you can't kill the pillagers through the slab after 1.20.2 or something when you come back to the farm, just use a trapdoor instead of the slab at the top, you can hit through the trapdoor and it works perfectly

Built this farm and the farm works great but I never seem to get hero of the village like how he did in the video. Other than that, great farm!

awesome raid farm! im almost on day 600 in my hardcore world and have never used totems so i thought it might be time since im planning on doing bigger things. edit: i suggest lighting the killing platform up, i went up the bubble elevator and then just see a creeper terrifying, didnt loose my hardcore world tho cuz I HAD A TOTEM FROM THE FARMMM

what if you're only farming for totems, is it possible to just use campfire to kill them or do they need to be killed with a sword for it to work?

Great video, but the block list didn't contain the carpet that needs to be placed on the hopper, so I had to do a lenghty tour back home to get one :D

I found that if you take away the middle platform and make it a single block with a redstone loop on a piston with a slab, you can push them off and into the chute. I also have a problem is that the raid ends when I get halfway up the water tunnel. (Edit): I found that if you move the villager to the top by you (on the north side) it will work.

if you play on superflat you can place water in a diagonal line. make sure that it is at least 70 blocks away from the edge.

slight modifcation if you dont wanna swing a sword you can put a block of mud on the hopper followed by a drip stone and the fall damage combined with the dripstone will kill the pillagers instantly some of the drops stay up there but you can just go on the ladder to pick them up

It seems like a great farm to build but I built it exactly as in the video, with the villager in the north but the raid bar dissappears although the mobs spawn and some seem to get stuck

Best raid farm, i make it on every single survival world. Also, heres a few tips: 1. If you're going to use a slab in the killing chamber instead of a chest get 2 chests instead of 3. 2. You need an additional carpet, which wasnt included in the material list but is in the build.

Some tips for farm issues like "Raid - Victory" okay so after some troubleshooting on my server, I found a more detailed way of using this farm. Construct the farm like the video and follow everything to a t. Make sure your villager holding cell is heading north, that seems to help. When using the farm for the first time, just get bad omen and head to the base of the farm and use the bubble elevator to go to the killing platform. Kill everything that falls down in one swoop (if you don't, the timing will be off, just wait a couple seconds for all the mobs to stop falling then hit kill them at the same time) , should only be a couple. After that, look at your bad omen effect, wait until the time left reads 1:39:45. At that point you are safe to start falling down to the villager and the raid will start again. I can't stress enough that the waiting is necessary otherwise when you fall after killing everything, the raid will finish and will have to kill the captain again to start over, and also killing everything at once. Hope this helps others with the same issue! Will edit in future if any changes found,

THIS FARM IS AMAZNG!!!!!! me and my friend was STUGGLING to get emeralds and now we have all the emeralds in the world.

Works in 1.20.2. Only thing is the hitboxes don't show through the half-slab and the boat for me. But just hitting the slab blindly from below works. Not sure if I did something wrong.

I've built this, and it did work for a bit, but despite the boats I placed there's still vexes spawning. Even did the chest thing, but they're still spawning despite that, so I keep getting killed during a raid. It did up my emerald earnings and stuff, but out of the 5 raids today, I was killed 3 times, so over half of them...

Another tip, wait a while after each raid for the vex to die. If you go too fast, the boats will fill too fast and vex can kill you. (Not like you'll actually die, this farm is too efficient at making totems lol)

i built the farm and everythings fine but i noticed this one had really bad raids so i turned on x ray and saw alot of mobs were getting stock at the top and not coming down is there a fix?

bro i am in love with this farm but theres a problem i get the effect of "Hero of the village" but the raid doesnt stop like the effect buff of "Bad Omen" still stays which ends up in infinite raid. Any help that you could provide? also love your vids

Im on 1.20.6 but when I go to the farm, it starts and then when i finish the raid it gives me hero of the village but my bad omen affect gets removed. Does anybody know how to fix that? The raiders are getting stuck at the top part
