I was like *what* but yeah. Monostable circuit gives a pulse of 0.1 sec or 1 tick when a level or button is pressed That's a rising edge. Falling edge is when it sends a pulse when the button or level is off Dual edge I guess is when it sends a pulse when the lever is on and off

Its actually a lot easier to make dual edge monastable circuits nowadays. You can do it in one block. [Items needed: Observer x1] Tutorial: Place observer Enjoy your new dual edge monastable circut!

That is easy! 4 pulse counters hooked up to 4 pressure plates (or how many you like), 2 AND logic gates, then another gate hooked up to the 2 before it, and the security system is done, now you hook it up to a simple piston door.

4 pistons on the left and the same on the right, 2 pistons facing towards you on both sides with a U shaped line of redstone with a repeater facing right on the right side set to 2 ticks and the same thing on the left, then place a block in front of the redstone and place a redstone torch on it and place a lever on that same block. (2x2 flush piston door)

Child's play. A dual edge monostable circuit is similar to a regular monostable (basically a 1 or more tick pulse generator) But it activates when you flick the lever on, and then when you flick the lever off. It's actually very useful in larger scale piston doors :))

@@InDestructibleMC those use hopper and cobweb timers and take far too long to open to be anywhere near practical. Yes there are 0 tick hipsters but they are quite bulky and are very expensive.

It can detect when a item goes into a chest, hopper and son. If u right click the comparator it’s in subtract mode where u have two different inputs and it subtracts the different signal strength and makes a signal strength which would be ur “answer” Edit: he has a video on it

Make a launch door; a door that only opens when you are launched with slime blocks. Also it needs to be 15 blocks above the ground It's not hard it's just satisfying... and it makes you have a cool entrance

@@Eli-mn5cq not at all, that’s a pulse extender or t-flip flop A monostable turns a constant signal into a short pulse. Another name for them that might make a bit more sense is “pulse shortener”. The edge is whether it lets the pulse through at the activation of the constant signal which would be a rising edge, or at the deactivation, which would be a falling edge. If it happens on both edges, that’s a dual edge monostable. Also you can’t spam a button.

This is far from a new video, but I just want to say that I love listening to Mumbo work things out. Just hearing the gears turning in his head is so entertaining and fun, and reminds me of solving a really hard puzzle.

Mumbo: We are going to need to double extend, double retract, retract those blocks, then triple extend, and triple retract but leave those blocks behind so that we can re-extend and then double extend them back up on the closing. Also mumbo: It's actually quite simple.

Tik Tok ad showed me two people playing Uno. I’m assuming brother and sister here- Sister puts down her last card and says Uno. Brother proceeds to start placing two +4 cards and then a +2 card. That’s when I skipped the ad. Two Uno violations in five seconds, three if you play with the rule that you can’t stack +4/2 cards. She’d already won the game by playing Uno, if anyone was wondering what the first violation was. The second one was that he played a different card than the +4 in the same turn.

CryptorCraft Gaming dis is when the piston pushes a piston up and the piston that got pushed up pushes another piston and then the last piston puts the block there and then its the opposite for retraction(sry i couldnt make it any simpler than this)
