I recommend the second farm, Why you might ask? because you can build many more around it but it depends on your situation like building a netherite beacon. the third farm is reccomended. but if its only for fireworks the 3 one is ideal. but if you want a huge amount of gpowder then the 3rd one will do you good

Tip: You can swap out your right mouse for a keyboard key to place the scaffoldings more quickly, the first farm shouldn't take 10 seconds to build.

Vats don't seem to make creepers run away on PS4. I made a huge farm that required 96 cats. Didn't realize it didn't work until I was already done with it 😭

There are multiple good easy gunpowder farms for bedrock (ps4 edition) just search bedrock gunpowder farm and you will find plenty easy designs

@@dunerman2533 They do, you just have to do it differently. The cat creeper farms don't work on bedrock edition because you can't prevent the spiders from spawning.

For the 10 minute farm if you were to stack it more do you need to place less scaffolding to get to the AFK spot or would it still be 118?

The afk point must be within 128 blocks of the "floor" of the lowest farm level in any case. So yes, less scaffolding. I didn't keep a close eye, but I guess that means 6 fewer scaffolds for each additional level of the farm. In short: afk is always the same height above the "floor" of the lowest level of the farm. The "floor" of the top level of the farm must not be less than 24 blocks from the afk because creepers will not spawn at these levels. So you can only build enough levels to fit between 128 and 24 from afk. It means like 17 levels. Will be enough for you? ;)

I built a 10 minute farm but for some reason it isnt spawning anything. I am at the top and nothing gets spawned. but if I am lower than occasionally something spawns

Could be that you built it too close to a mountain like me. if it's too close to a mountain then mobs can spawn outside of the farm. Also, if you build more layers to it then make sure your AFK spot isnt too high up. if it's too high the mobs could despawn before getting burnt by the campfire

Does this not work in bedrock? Built the exact same way made sure there were no caves under the platform and after 20 min I got one spider eye and 2 sting with the carpet in the exact same places

A stacking raid farm can produce thousands of gunpowder an hour too. If I was after gunpowder I’d invest in building one of these rather then messing about with cats.

Sodium lets you toggle every Particle Effect. Pause > Video Settings > Particles > Block Breaking / Block Broken. OptiFine *might* have a toggle for breaking blocks particles, but I don't see any in OptiFine for MC v1.16. Pause > Video Settings > Animations...

Yes so long as it is Java since bedrock has lower spawn rates (I dont play bedrock so idk for sure though)

Yeah, there are such things. about a year ago I build one, designed by ilmango. he has video about it in youtube, but no build tutorial, just a world download. Took me a good 3 hours to reverse-engineer it and learn how it works with trial and error.

if you add more layers don't add 118 scaffolding. You can't be higher than 128 blocks above the campfires or else the mobs despawn before they get burnt
