imagine ranking every edition of minecraft in a tier list? well imagine no more, this is not a video about minecraft classic and whats even more classic than that is knowing how much does minecraft java edition cost, not to mention minicraft or block game 3D. but also think about the children, education edition AM I RIGHT? also don't have a problem with minecraft education edition login, pls, and don't forget educational minecraft, but really what is the BEST edition of minecraft, the java players would say java dream smp tommyinnit pogchamp but the bedrock players would say tiktok hypixel 1.17, yes... The Legacy editions are so underrated. Clean and polished UI, a lot less buggy, gama options, the mini games, it wasn't a strain on the eyes, it was easy to understand, and the tutorial worlds were amazing.

If you play bedrock side by side with the legacy editions the entire gameplay looks, and feels different. When i went back to playing Xbox One edition it felt like I was playing with better lighting and textures, and in general it just felt less like a mobile game, sucks there was a pretty low render distance though compared to bedrock.

I think you forgot how the console editions had some pretty neat features, like the minigames for example. I know they're not the best but they were certainly good for the time.

Something alot of people overlook was the actual xbox one edition. The online minigames, tumble, hungrr games and glide were some of the most enjoyable things I ever did.

@@paulhoeksema7200 I had never had a chemistry class. I just saw it pop up in my game. Plus, I don't have a table top computer at home nor have minecraft on my school's computers. I just had it. Probably all bedrock players got it on their consoles.

I remember playing the 360 edition and despite the bugs and limited world, I feel like that made the gameplay even more interesting, such as battling the wither in the nether right next to a giant wall of bedrock.. This edition has place in my heart.

The best thing about Java edition is the huge community of talented creators that formed around it through the years. All those wonderful mods will spice your gameplay up a bit whenever you feel like vanilla is getting boring.

Just a fun fact: Legacy Edition wasn’t just on Xbox 360, PS3 and WiiU. It also ran on PS4 and Xbox One, under there respective names “Xbox One Edition” and “PlayStation 4 Edition”. They ran the same as 360, PS3 and WiiU, but it’s nice that they were ported

I am now a Java Edition player. The first real time I played Minecraft was on the Xbox 360 Edition with my brother, and we made some really good memories with the splitscreen playability. However I do remember every time I tried to play survival by myself I’d always get discouraged because the world border was so close to the spawn point.

One of the main reasons I switched to Java is the advantages you have when it comes to the launcher, as if you have the Java Minecraft launcher you can visit all the way to the first ever Minecraft version EVER, and for more fun you can even play infdev.

@NoahsStuff although java is my favorite version, even i have to admit bedrock is extremely polished in the sense that it can literally run on $100 tablets. java definitely is not as optimized.

Yeah, I'm a java player, but there are plenty of good things about bedrock, like performance, the variety of consoles it can be played on, how cauldrons work, and moveable tile-entities. It's definitely a good version. Edit: Also Armor stands with arms

Bedrock edition is okay. Besides some bugs it's okay. It doesn't have things like hardcore mode which is kinda bad plus mobile players have to pvp with pc players so yeah...

@@bingobo2551 PS4 also = Bedrock edition, the legacy PS4, Xbox One, and Mobile (and any other legacy editions) are on the same update as the legacy Xbox 360 and PS3 editions and are therefore tied in with them (I am speaking mostly for consoles with this) The legacy Mobile edition was just updated to bedrock and not many people minded as it meant more people to play with and the new updates

Ok but the education edition on bedrock is actually cool cause it comes with: sparklers, glow sticks, ice bomb things, more food and salt, bag of bonemeal, under water TNT, under water torches/collared torches, balloons with many colors, medicine that cures different effects like nausea, as well as heat blocks, bleach, harden glass, and much more.( go to settings under cheats, and you can use it in survival )

I actually owned the minecraft 3ds edition when i had a 3DS, Now its lost along with my 3DS, also the Xbox 360 is the first version i played minecraft on, and possibly the first video game. good memories back then. now im stuck with bedrock edition,, which i suffer on

Education edition is like bedrock but without the nether update but it has lots of other features such as element constructor, the periodic table (found in creative mode), balloons built with leads helium and other stuff, W A T E R I N A C U P (made with hydrogen and 2 oxygen) and 31 more!

bad graphics, not updated anymore, little verity to many games, small world and block limits. it deserves to be where it’s at. u could say that the legacy made bedrock but what holds it back is how small it is.

It actually isn't that bad. Minecraft NetEase/China combined Minecraft Bedrock and MCPE Master into one so it's kind of like a social platform + the actual game.

I still have my ps3 with Minecraft on it and realised the past summer it hadnt been updated in years. I remember playing it 4 years on my playstztiob with my sister on local multiplayer. It luxkily had a tutorial mode. Otherwise I would be lost

Hypixel is external to Mojang and Microsoft, this does mean that java is free of transactions, and even in the case of hypixel you buy everything on their website, not in game

Now I intend to crush your opinion. Bedrock edition is a mess it feels like a shitty free to play game for kids. Emotes where the last straw before I started to completely boycott bedrock edition. I hate what Microsoft is doing to Minecraft and I'm glad Minecraft Java edition has not fallen victim to these scummy tactics. Point being. Go buy Java edition and play that instead if you HAVE to play Minecraft. If not Install Linux and stop using Microsoft products entirely

My favorite is education. -your automatically logged in so you can play with your friends -it's basically the same as normal Minecraft but has cool and helpful features like the camera where if your playing bedwars you can make blueprints of your base -it works on pocket edition and computers. And it basically Java edition on computers -and you get to play it at school

I think most people can agree that Legacy Editions didn't exactly deserve Average... because of UI, QOL, not pay-to-play or freemium servers but instead official Mini-Games, and unique Tutorials. Also Legacy Console Edition probably attracted many players to the game in the first place.

That would be great, but it can't happen, because both use a different coding language and Engine. Bedrock uses C++ or C# I forgor 💀 and Java uses... well Java ofc and that makes it really difficult.

@@ACountryballer1871 what do you mean with infinite colors? java has more beacon and armour colors thats because pocket is made fore also smaller devices and if you put a million different colors in it it would cost more space. and java is only fore computers so you wont have that problem fast. Thats also why java has more note block sounds.

Both Bedrock and Java are amazing. Of course you can argue about Bedrock's micro transactions and it's also sad that mods aren't a thing and you can't go back a few versions but Bedrock really connects players. Both versions have their pros and cons

Bedrock used to be bad but now with recent quality and parity changes, it is much better. I play on pc and I would love to play on Java but many of my friends play on consoles so I play bedrock. Recently they made it so that mnk uses raw input instead of feeling like a joysticks movement. Also the fog rendering and how easy it is to run at like 300 fps with 96 chunks loaded make it above Java for me. I just want parity like hardcore, redstone, and shader/ mod support
