Tip Time: You need to build a house out of wooden planks because mobs come out in the night. One rule for you. NEVER DIG STRAIGHT DOWN! You need to make a bed and sleep and it’ll set your spawn point. You will never go back to that awful island. Make a bed with wool from sheep and wooden planks. You need to make a stone pickaxe to mine iron. Iron can be found in caves. It’s the same process to make a wooden pickaxe except u mine stone. Mine stone with a pickaxe to create a furnace, this way you can cook food faster than a campfire and you gain more hunger points than raw food. You need coal or wood to cook the food though. You can get light by getting coal and sticks to make torches. It also prevents mobs from spawning in the light. (They hate spawning in light) You can quickly move things through your inventory with shift left click. When your low on hunger you can’t sprint. You can sprint by hitting w twice. Make a chest because you can store items and they’ll never despawn. (If you leave items on the ground for to long they will vanish in about 5 mins) Drop items by pressing Q OR go to your inventory and click an item and drag the item out of the inventory menu into the gray area and exiting your inventory. Preferably you use the second method when you wanna drop something that’s not on your inventory bar: Enjoy the tips.

Here are some stuff that are important Step 1: get lots of wood in case Step 2: make a bed, how? Kill a sheep, it will give you white wool, get 3 wools, get wood, and make a bed in a crafting table. You might be guessing, but you're doing pretty good for not knowing what you're doing. Just keep at it, one step at a time. Bed, torches, and a stable food source is probably your next goals for long-term survival. People have given a lot of good hints/advice for how to do these things, but if you need any other tips then don't hesitate to ask!

My man made a campfire before a furnace, this is what makes me appreciate first time players

TIPS: -Pressing shift allows you to crouch and crouching allows you to stay on a ledge w/o falling off. -You cannot control a horse w/o placing a saddle on it. -Cows ALSO drop leather. -Horses can be tamed using carrots and apples. -Use a hoe to till dirt around water and then place your seeds. They will grow into wheat once they are brown on the bottom! -When you’re feeling comfortable, try exploring the land to find a village!! Villages allow you to find new vegetables to plant and other cool things. You can also trade with them too.

Ayy, Minecraft man! Looking forward to this series, should be good to watch. I think other people have already covered most of the tips that'll help you starting out, but some I picked up plus a few for later in the series: Feed two horses beside one another apples until they both have hearts and they'll make a foal. Saddles are made of leather, and when you equip one is when you can ride your horse. Wolves are tamed and bred with bones (gotten from skeletons) and then can be fed with rotten meat. When their tail is up, they're healthy, when the tail is down, they need to be fed to regain health. If you leave a tamed wolf standing up, it will follow you and teleport to you. To leave it in one location, click it so it sits down. If you find a cat, tame it with raw fish- they run very fast so it takes some time to catch them- but they guard chests, sitting on them so they can't be opened, and scare away creepers- very useful feature. If you can, find a village. They spawn randomly, but if you find one, you can trade with villagers, steal all their crops and everything in their chests, and just be a general menace. However, if you harm a villager, be aware they are guarded by iron golems and the golem will attack you. You can eventually make your own golem with four iron blocks in a T and a jack'o'lantern on top, who will protect your base. Be on the lookout for wandering traders, who spawn with two llamas. They mostly demand emeralds, which you can mine or steal from villages, and mostly trade useless stuff, but you can kill him and keep his llamas. After you kill the trader, though, the llamas will spit at you for a while, which takes a bit of health. I recommend making a shield to block the spit- also useful for blocking skeleton arrows. Bone meal acts as fertiliser and helps crops grow faster. Useful, not vital. I recommend keeping bones to tame wolves. Stone can be used to make a furnace, which cooks food much faster and can be used to turn sand to glass as well as make other materials. If you don't sleep for three nights or more, a Phantom- a bat demon looking ugly fucker- will come and try to kill you, so make a bed soon- which will also reset your spawn point and when used skip night. They can also be dyed different colours. If you come across diamonds, don't mine them with anything less than an iron pickaxe, because you'll loose them- and always make sure there isn't lava above or below the diamonds first. Once you've found diamonds, you can mine obsidian, which is used for portals and enchanting tables. I think that's everything. Good luck! As you get further on I'll keep commenting new goals, because eventually you'll have to proceed to the Nether and the End, but that won't be for a while, I think. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, and whatever video you put out next! Hopefully these tips helped.

Tip: There is a second dimension that you can only get to at a certain point in the game. To get to it, put obsidian blocks in a rectangle shape (has to be a rectangle going vertically) and light it on fire. Then the portal is opened. Obsidian can only be mined with a Diamond Pickaxe

the fact that minecraft let us break any block without the tools is cool and confusing at same time, this type of confusion don't happen on other games if it just don't let u break the stuff. first time players don't get this confuse on terraria/valheim/don't starve and other survival games minecraft let you break everything but if u no have the tool it don't drop, and it takes a while for the person to think that it did not drop because u did not had the right tool.

You know, you really have *A LOT* to learn. When i mean a lot, i REALLY MEAN TONS OF INFORMATION. Trust me, i've been playing minecraft for 9+ years(im 14) For example: mob spawning mechanic that have to do with the lighting, hight level, chunks(16x16 block areas), distance from player and areas that mobs can actually spawn in!(no trapdoors, halfblocks,carpets etc). Nvm, you will understand that one day. Also sorry for my poor English, im not american)

Also some tips. Cows drop more leather than horses. You need a minimum of 9 hunger bars filled to regain health back. you can mine iron ore with a stone pickaxe and smelt it using a furnace rather than a campfire. You can smelt sand for glass. Dropped items will despawn after 5 minutes. Hitting mobs while jumping does critical hits (only when you are coming down from jumping). You can make a hoe to plant the seeds for wheat. Use water to hydrate the tilled land. The water can hydrate up to 4 blocks diagonal and across but not up and down. You can minecraft lapis lazuli with stone pickaxe, but you need an iron pickaxe to mine diamond ore, redstone ore, emerlad ore, pretty much everything else. Pouring water over lava makes obsidian. You can only obtain obsidian by mining it ith a diamond pickaxe. You can make a 5×4 obsidian frame and set the inside of fire with a flint and steel to make a nether portal. Also DON'T DIG STRAIGHT DOWN! There's so much more to cover but I hope this helps. I love your channel and hope you enjoy Minecraft. Cheers!
