Don't worry about the gameplay, it's hilarious to see someone trying to figure it out from nothing. Also if you dont step on the pressure plate in the sand temple (the grey square), the TNT under the sand won't blow up. Sand temples have hella good stuff, so next time you see one, make sure to stay on the edges of the room.

Okay so I'll make a list of goals you can/should pursue: - Stable food source, meaning plants but you can also breed animals (Wich you need weed for) - Full Iron equipment so you don't get rekt during the night - Explore the world, there are many different biomes and some cool things can be found - Find diamonds, they makes the best equipment but are also necessary to mine obsidian wich you need to make the nether portal - make a fancy house, you could for example make a nicer floor or make some windows (smelt sand in the furnace) I'm enjoying the let's play, it's always fun to see people get started in Minecraft, a lot can go horribly wrong but there's also some magical moments when people build their own first dirt house xD

As soon as I saw the temple, I got so sad!! if you find one next time, make sure to break the stone pressure plate in the middle because stepping on it triggers the tnt and lava. You can get saddles from those chests, so look out for them because they are not craftable!

"Iron Pickaxe - done" *Literally didn't even get iron*

Mine down deeper. Find more iron ore to make iron tools + armour + a shield. Diamonds are rare and deep in the ground, they make the best tools + armour. When you find 3 diamonds, you can make a diamond pickaxe. A diamond pickaxe can mine obsidian, and you can make a nether portal with 14 obsidian. (A 4×5 ring of obsidian standing upright) Then you can light the portal with flint and steel.

Trust me, everybody falls for the desert pyramid trap.

If you happen to find a temple again, mining the pressure plate before you step on it is safe to do. Also, you can mine under the floor and take the TNT! Pressing shift will allow you to crouch, crouching along ledges will keep you from falling off. Tips! 1. Your goal right now should be getting to the Nether. It’s a very scary place. But I will leave you tips for that in the future. Can’t remember if you found this last episode but you can craft some armor to increase your toughness and reduce damage. You can craft a shield to deflect arrows and attacks from mobs. You can put it in your other hand by pressing F or going to your inventory and putting it in the slot that’s in the right side of your character. Right click to use the shield! Make your house larger and symmetrical because it’s giving me major OCD You can melt sand in furnaces to create glass, which you can use for windows! Creepers can’t see through glass so don’t worry if a creeper gets close to the window. You can jump and hit mobs to do a critical attack. You know you did a critical attack when particles will show up on the target you hit. It’ll have a different sound as well. Those people who attacked you that are gray are Pillagers that will come to your base once in a while to find you. They do drop a flag/banned if you kill the one with a flag on its head. You can place sugar cane on sand that is next to water. Place torches in caves to see better! WOAH EPIC. There are villages that contain villagers that you can trade with, don’t hit them or either the powerful iron golem will come! (the village protector that can kill you in two hits) There really is no end to Minecraft, but the final boss is the Ender Dragon. I will give you tips on how to find him later. ;) Spread torches around outside to prevent mobs from spawning around your house Skeletons and Zombies can survive the sun if under a tree or in water. The scary noises are cave sounds, which means there is a cave nearby. Now you have iron pick I recommend getting iron tools. Make a bucket so you can carry water around to make a better garden There is another temple called a Jungle Temple, the temple you ran into earlier is a Desert Temple. The reason to not mine straight down is because you could fall in lava or a ravine and lose everything... Ravines are deep cuts in the ground, watch where you step you don't wanna fall in one! Watch out for gravel or sand that can fall on you they are the only blocks that are effected by gravity. The ceiling of a cave entrance can collapse on you! Know when a collapsing cave is here when you see particles of sand or gravel falling to the cave ground. Iron pick can mine diamonds (the strongest tool type in the game) it feels great once you find diamonds. You will need diamonds to make a diamond pickaxe and get to the nether later.

- Coal can often be found on the sides of mountains and hills (and underground, of course). You can also melt wood in the furnace to make some if you're desperate. Sometimes trees drop saplings (if you break the leaves) which can be planted again for more wood. - You can upgrade your armor and tools to iron and then diamonds once you find them. Golden tools/armor suck, so don't waste your gold on them if you find any. Some ores require an iron pickaxe at minimum for you to get anything. You'll have to mine deep to get some of the ores. - Higher light levels inhibit monster spawning, so better light up any areas you don't want them to get into (they can still wander there if nothing's blocking them though). Better place them low, as it's the lighting level of the floor that counts. If you go mining or exploring a cave, I recommend always placing the torches on the right side, so they'll be on the left when trying to find back. - Good deep mining techniques include the staircase method, as well as standing between two blocks/grids and mining each grid one at a time. Mining straight down or straight up can be deadly. - You could go out exploring to find villages. It's a good way to find some exotic crops, and the villagers can trade you things. As a good travel tip, you could carry an extra bed with you, and plant it down whenever the night comes (as a downside, your spawn point gets reset every time you sleep in a new bed - if the last bed you used no longer exists upon dying, I think it returns you to world spawn). - Some monsters drop important loot, so once you have better tools/armor, you should consider fighting some of them at times. - Sugarcane is vital to make paper (used for other things later on). They can grow on sand or dirt blocks right next to water (no need to hoe the ground, that's for other crop types). All crops can also be grown underground if the light level is sufficient.

For pvp you have to wait for the bar to fill up again to do maximum damage, spamming is not ideal...

When you are crafting their should be a slider, if you press this then it will show all the items you can craft from just the things you have in your inventory, instead of showing everything you can craft even if you don't have all the materials. Though its your pick, because if you choose the first option then you HAVE to go out and explore to make new and more things, but if you choose the second then a lot of things that you don't own will show up in the crafting table even though you don't know what the other items in the recipe are. In short, just slide the option back and fourth often, its hard to explain but easy to understand once you see it

This also applies to the other windows as well, such as in crafting tables, furnaces, etc. Including in getting the torches here at 17:05. . 5:27 Sugarcanes can not be planted on farmland, they can only be planted directly on dirt or sand with water next to it. Coals and charcoal are the most efficient, they burn for a long time so many items can be burnt. But out of the two charcoal is the sustainable one. How to make charcoal? Below. . The best items in the game are the sustainable ones because you can rely on them for life. For example, you can't farm coals, you can only mine them. Once you mined coals near you, you will get farther and farther to get more coals. However, charcoal instead, is created by burning a log in the furnace, in which, of course, logs came from trees that are farmable and sustainable. Initially, you would use wooden planks to burn logs, and later on, you would use charcoal to continue charcoal production. . Other goals would also be: . My most favorite of all time... *Farming! Not only plants/crops but the livestock/animals too! And other farmable things that includes one of the most complex such as slime farm and iron farm! Make a farm made by fences and place at least one fence gate between fences. Lastly, you can lure animals into the enclosure! By handling their choice of food, they will follow you anywhere you go. **Pigs are attracted to carrots, potatoes, and beets. **Cattle and sheep are attracted to wheat. **Chickens are attracted to seeds (wheat seeds, beet seeds, pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, and cocoa seeds). **Rabbits are attracted to carrots and dandelions. . *Finding a village! Get loots from a village such as their valuable crops (carrots, potatoes, wheat, and beets) and the items in the chest located in the blacksmith (the building with lava). . Damn, you actually write all those tips down😂 Props, man. Got a few more for you. In terms of goals, I'd suggest just farming, mining and reinforcing your base. First big goal is diamond. Once you have an iron bucket and a diamond pickaxe, you can take it down into the caves and find lava. Put the water above the lava- not in-depth and it'll make obsidian. Mine that with the diamond pickaxe to get the obsidian, and you can make a Nether portal. That would be your next major advancement. Those strange noises are cave noises. They're not much to worry about- it just means there might be a cave in the general vicinity. Sugar canes can be planted on sand next to water. They grow three blocks high and then can be harvested to make paper or sugar- vital for many things. Also, in terms of traps like in the temple, just be on the lookout for pressure plates and any strange attachments on the walls around you. They're often attached to TNT, as you saw, trapdoors into lava, or trigger arrows. For monsters spawning, they can't spawn anywhere there's light, so just place a lot of torches and you're only in danger of them wandering from a distance. Those murderous dudes you ran into are pillagers. If you claim a village, they'll raid it in waves that get increasingly harder and you're expected to defend it (or you could just run). Watch out for them and their bases- which are massive towers with domes on top or giant mansions in the woods- they're not too hard to beat individually, but there's a lot of them. Honestly, even though we've probably overrun you with advice, just don't sweat it. You're doing very well! I hope you don't mind the information dump, but I thought these might be useful to know. Dont spam click when fighting mobs cuz the damage ur inflicting on the mobs will be lower so i suggest u wait 0.5 seconds before hitting a mob with a sword. Fun fact: you can dye leather armor if u put leather armor and a colored dye inside a watered cauldron

One tip for the crafting table is to click that small little button on the top right when using the crafting table. It'll show you what you can make when there's a check box and it'll show all of the different possibilities when there's a red x. Also, you can type in whatever you want to craft at the top. By clicking the empty space next to the button, you open up a search bar. Type in whatever you need to, but the table will only show you recipes that you've already unlocked. Hope this helps, and I love the gameplay. I started playing less than a month ago and you are doing way better than I did!

You don't make iron pixakse you made stone one. If you want iron picakxe you need to make it of iron. Iron is geted by smelting iron ore in regual furnes or blast furnes.
