Hey Dan, there is a way to remove enchantments off of stuff and it’s not modded. A grindstone. Its not modded and I believe it came out in the village and pillage update

Cool fact: Minecraft diamonds are more common 27-29 blocks below the surface, near lava even less. Another cool fact: gold, and emeralds are both more common in extreme hill bioms, 20-26 blocks below the surface, you'll need to dig around 20-22 blocks down to find gold, 26-29 blocks down, finding diamonds in these bioms is rare, and you would need to dig a lot to find even won.
