both of you need to calm down, everyone makes tutorials on farms. Ian is credited in the description, third line so it can be seen even with the box minimized. Voicing it or not is a personal decision, but I personally like it when they're not voiced, because it's exactly what I would have opened the video for, a tutorial on something. Third the sponsor is his own business, so it makes sense to promote a server hosting site that they made. Lastly, ads are on every single video on KZfaq, your asking them to demonetize a video on the channel they built through their hard work, essentially asking them to stop getting paid for the work they put in to make the farms in the videos, edit them, and then upload.

Same here!! just found Shukercraft from a reddit post, and now I get 2 great youtubers for the price of 1 lucky google search! everything in Minecraft is basically stolen ideas, (well I wouldn't say stolen more like copied) with people getting so technical and digging into every minute detail of each version of the game, 99% of people could never hope to build half of the stuff you can find on KZfaq nowadays. unless people share the knowledge, the game would of died a long time ago..

The advantage of Zombie Villager mob switch is that I don't have to waste time traveling that far to deactivate it 😅. Traveling in the nether is very irritating. yeah shulkercraft is a redstone thief he doesnt know anything about it he just makes a video about it the burning netherrack is for the chunk loader. basically when an item gets thrown in a nether portal, it loads the other side for 15s. It takes 15s for an entity to go back (it needs to leave the portal and then go back in) once it goes through and another 15s. This is super complicated. So basically this youtuber by the name of Dark realised that you can send minecarts over and burn them (as minecart hitboxes are slightly bigger than a block, a fire beside it will burn. You need netherrack for it to infinitely burn. Soul sand will work too iirc. Only one fire is needed but the second fire is needed because for some reason it will break) and turn them back into an item. That item will reset that 15s and will go back through and get picked up and repeat. For the silverfish, basically minecraft only allows 70 hostile mobs, 10 passive mobs and a few other mobcaps to spawn per player (For 5 players its 350 hostile mobs cause 70*5). So basically it loads 70 hostile mobs so minecraft won't spawn any more. This is a unique design cause mobs usually despawn, including silverfish. Thus, players usually prefer wardens, shulkers and withers as they will never despawn but mobs will despawn when over 128 blocks. This design uses lazy chunks. Basically, lets say you have a server render distance of 2 (technically simulation distance after 1.19 because simulation is basically loading while render is just what you can seebut people called it render for ages so yeah just call it render and if you are using sodium (which every minecraft player needs to use as vanilla sucks too bad) render and simulation is the same and is under render) or a singleplayer render distance of 4 (they are slightly different as lazy chunks are counted in your render distance in singleplayer), your chunk and the 2 chunks in any direction are loaded. Those chunks are active (called entity ticking chunks) and follow everything we know about chunks. Basically like that 25 chunks are loaded. Then the ring outside is redstone processing chunks where redstone and command blocks are processed ONLY then the ring outside of the redstone chunks is border chunks which is basically unloaded as basically nothing is happening except for the fact that you can see it. Those 2 border chunks are called lazy chunks as entities are not processed. This will abuse the system as in lazy chunks, mobs cannot despawn until they go into the entity ticking chunks. Then the game realised that it has been over 128 blocks from a player before and it will despawn. It basically makes no difference except for the fact that lazy chunks are still loaded meaning that entities in them still count to the mob cap but cannot despawn until you go in it. Chunk loaders as mentioned above bascially have a server render of 1 and singleplayer render of 3. So the chunk the chunk loader is on and the chunks around the chunk loader are entity ticking chunks. However, you will be going 2 chunks away which means that the mob switch is in a redstone processing chunk which is a lazy chunk. This is how the mob switch works. Edit: tl;dr: the fire burns the minecarts to send them back to the other side and the silverfish is used to fill up the mob cap which stops minecraft from spawning more mobs.

Turn off the chunkloader in the nether side so they are no longer loaded. Then, once you're done farming mobs, turn it back on. It is a mob SWITCH, after all :D
