The only reason this happens is because the pseudorandom generator recieves a seen that causes the repetitions to occor much closer together and closer to spawn. In reality, every Minecraft seed repeats, but those repeats may be too large or too far away from spawn to notice.

I don't have any problems with the video as a whole the only issue I have is the lack of designation of if this is bedrock or java. Almost zero minecraft contest creators say what version they are on when showing the maps. This is important because of some very important differences like world generation, structures functionality of objects and how/where the player spawns. For example there is a world that used to generate where the player would spawn on a single block in the middle of an ocean where the closest land was almost two hours travel away. That particular nightmare was fairly popular but for a while but I don't know if it still works. The travel time was based on normal travel times using survival mode only by land. There is now one that is almost two hours travel in creative but it is still very interesting and difficult.

Bedrock and Java seeds have the same world generation now. Its been like that for a few years

@DeriusW Certain seeds will generate differently especially when talking about structures. For example villages and deep dark being in the same location as a stronghold. This is something that has been documented on bedrock but not Java. There are many other different things that have happened in bedrock like the frozen desert where ir generates a desert biome that is also tundra. These things will sometimes be the same across versions though not always especially when talking about structures. Java is also more stable when dealing with certain interactions while bedrock has a tendency to crash. I have played both versions and have seen everything that I have listed. Another example is the certain seeds will only work in certain ways on certain versions. For example one of my favorite seeds is syphym spelled that way. It acts differently on bedrock and Java. On Java it will spawn you right next to a nearly complete ruined neather portal with a pice of gold armor, enough obsidian to complete the portal in a chest right next to it, a block of gold and three iron ingots. On bedrock you will be missing the armor and iron. Yes I understand that pregenerated chests can be different from version to version and I also understand that other things will occasionally happen but that seed also spawns you above an abandoned mine shaft and a partial stronghold without a portal. This said it doesn't have the partial stronghold on Java but it is there on bedrock. There are many other interesting features that make bedrock and Java different like trapped chests that occasionally naturally generate not functioning consistently when opened in their generation location even if everything was properly connected when the world generates. I can easily keep going but I don't have all day to get into it.

That whole world repeats itself! It works on bedrock, but I’m not sure about Java. If you try it, go into spectator mode and look around. It’s crazy.

Near spawn at 724, 260 is the stronghold. It has two libraries and a portal with no eyes in it There's also a couple monster spawners in there and the monster spawners repeat just like the ravine does.

Good question. I'm not really sure, but I would assume that it has something to do with two similar noise maps overlapping with a really small offset. If you don't know what noise maps are, go watch MrHenrik's video on Minecraft world generation. Great video
