Regarding Tiktok, It is important to note that if your account is not 18+, the Notification for the cape WILL NOT show. You need an account which is 18+ in order to receive the Tiktok Cape. Please upvote to spread the awareness!

The Tiktok cape is a bit different from the twitch one, it has to be done on the phone (from my experience anyway) and you need to follow an eligible creator that is in the same region as you, then instead of watching for 15min, you need to type "minecraft" in the chat, for some it's watch for 3min.

For the Twitch cape: It will apparently only be available to use on July 8th. However, as shown in the video, the code needs to be claimed before the 30th of June.

I participated in building on the community map (I'm Jiingy in the screenshot), everyone worked on it for like 3 weeks straight and it was super fun :) Definitely worth checking out!!

I don't want to have to make a TikTok account and watch Minecraft brainrot just to get a cape... But if I don't, I'll lose the opportunity forever. _Sigh..._ Why do these capes have to be attached to social media sites? :/

I don't use TikTok but I made an account for the cape and I didn't have to really watch long I literally clicked the first Live video I saw and then commented Minecraft and got the code immediately, and then I just deleted the account once I got the Cape

As much as I like owning capes, I don't like twitch and tiktok and hardy ever use those websites at all. So, I'll be happy to just own the 15-anniversary cape. Edit: I've decided to get the twitch cape but still won't be getting the tiktok one.

Given that they’re already collaborating with Google it would’ve been cool to find a way to do a KZfaq cape, though I suppose KZfaq doesn’t have the drop reward structure Twitch and TikTok do.

I feel like they should make a new piston varient. Silent pistons. (Sticky and nonsticky) Basically, normal pistons have their og sound, but a silent piston (piston in center of crafting grid, surrounded by 2-4 wool) would have the new sound.

I manage to get all of the 3 cages for the 15 anniversary And I got the 3 because I never got capes for my Java, and since these 3 capes are gonna be in Java and bedrock it’s the best for both worlds for me, literally.

Just want to clarify that the realms collaboration map is actually free to download from the article. It wasn’t at first but they updated it shortly after posting. There is a ton to do and explore, and it was a joy to work on it. We had only a little over a month to work on it, but I think I can say for all of us that we are super proud of the final product. I hope you do take a little time to explore it, even if it’s just flying around in creative.

If you have a VPN and are in the US you can switch your location to the UK and it should let you claim it. It just worked for me!

I have all capes except the tiktok cape which will take a day till it's able to be claimed which am very hyped for since it means I'll have 4 capes when they will be available for Java Edition as well. I like the creeper cape already

I absolutely hate having to go to another source for in-game items. I play Minecraft. I don't play twitch, I don't play Tik Tok. (yes, I know they're not games) Why do I have to go there for Minecraft items. Consumables I don't mind as much as they're a use it and lose it item but a permanent thing like a cape should be available to anyone who plays the game. I shouldn't have to go to another source for it. (Please Note. This is not a "rant" against X, He just relayed the info about it and I'm grateful for the info.)

Just a note, for the Tiktok cape, it seems you need to use the app on your phone, not the website on your computer. I tried both ways, didn't get anything on my laptop, but instantly got it by commenting 'Minecraft' from my phone. Otherwise, thanks for the news, now I have three more capes! ^__^

Hey, I have a question about the capes. I was on a call with my friend, and I was watching twitch to get the code. I got the code but when I redeemed it and went to my cape inventory it didn't show up. It also said I already had it when I got the cape again by making a new account on twitch and getting another code. My friend also got a twitch code and went to redeem it, but it didn't pop up in his cape inventory either. Next, we tried the TikTok cape. I couldn't even make a TikTok account because it says, "Can't open this page try again later." My friend was able to create a TikTok account and watched for an hour, and still didn't receive it. If you know anything about why this is happening, please reply.

I inserted the code in the field to redeem the twitch cape, it said it was now ready, but i didnt get it. How to solve? When I try to re-insert the code, it says it was already used

My only motivation for getting the capes is further skin combinations on java. I like making skins for free, and the capes just give an additional bit of material for me to work around. Got the twitch one (I like purple), caved in to get the tiktok one, though it may be to late for me by now. All this social media stuff is too much for me and overwhelming, so as soon as the event is over, Im deleting these apps asap.

I made a TikTok account just to get the cape (after I got it I deleted my account and uninstalled the app) and the whole time I was watching the stream there was this repeated piano sound that nobody else seemed to be able to hear and it was driving me crazy. Turns out it was another, non-live TikTok playing in the background. I hate it here.
