This is a great build! I've been trying to find more designs like this but I've yet to see any similar. I got plans to make a dome city under water with similar design elements. Detailing my domes with Quartz, Prismarine and Sea Lanterns.

I'm being to build it, but the water won't be drained. Instead, there will be a conduit in the centre.

Great Tutorial for my world! But slight issue. at 4:28 the sun is too bright and I cannot see what I am supposed to do, maybe fix lighting a bit next time 😁

I built it higher for better tutorial and view. You can build it somewhere deeper in the ocean. But you have to make the elevator longer.

This is an amazing build, yet im having troubles knowing how many blocks to place at times because of how fast the time lapse is :'( but still, its a beautiful build!

I would have liked a clearer look at how to build the elevator and the rest of the interior, but the rest of the video was awesome!

for some reason, my magma block elevator wont work. In the video u place kelp blocks on top (6:46) of it but it wont let me put kelp on a magma block. Can someone help

I put kelp to make water from flow to Stagnant, then you can put kelps on the dirt and after doing this process just remove kelps and put magma block and soulsand.❤

you can start in survival , change settings to creative and make sure u dig out 7 to 8 levels down, i did 3 levels down n its sticks out the water a bit n then i extended it the same way you did but further underwater ill show a video after im done also i used cyan glass for the floors

no clear instruction on how to do the elevator design. had to figure it out myself and ended up just doing my own thing cause it didn’t make much sense. the soul sand and magma blocks don’t even reach as high as the elevator does. i drowned trying to get out in survival. might’ve been too deep but y’know that’s the point of an underwater base 😭. other than exit and entrance it’s a beautiful and perfect design i love it

Because you should put water in every single block of elevator not only on the top of elevator

You can use a sponge or place and remove the block.

There are texture packs that can remove those particles specifically, you can also go into the minecraft settings to disable all particles. The issue is those particles are to my knowledge also the same particles for rain and fishing, among other things, so you lose out on some things. Alternatively I believe you could have a gap of air above the blocks but that would look weird and cost quite a bit more

Yes, you can, but check if it matches the quartz. Alternatively, you can change the quartz

The idea is cool and the base was cool but trying to build it with a tutorial like this with barely any information and and a lapse was a living nightmare. Luckily if you slow it down to 0.5 speed it's ok but please make tutorials easier

Yes you can add more hemisphere with path connected together or you can make hemisphere bigger
