Seeing that uni party reminded me of a time in uni where one of my lectures / seminars only had a class of like...5 people in so as a means of getting to know them better I bought in muffins for everyone as I thought that'd be nice, and then they all laughed at me and called me gay. Then the lecturer turned up and joined in with them laughing at me. Luckily the neighbours were stoners so the muffins didn't go to waste.

As someone who was recruited to be a guest on the Maury Show as a kid, they do ask you right up front about how “comfortable” you are getting dramatic. They want screams and fake tears. My mum said my life didn’t need more dramatics and the calls from Hollywood stopped. I’m still annoyed because I wanted the free gifts! I could have forced out some tears in exchange for Disneyland and a one on one with a sheep (love sheep). Those fear episodes though were uncomfortable. Even if it was fake, that’s a lot of like fake emotion.

I completely agree with you george on the anime take. Like for starters it's a cartoon not an actual person. It is drawn by a person so they can change the character whenever they want. You are basically attracted to a 70 year old manga artist lol. Secondly, you just can not ignore the fact they are purposefully drawn to look really young. Not loli young (don't research that) but still too young. I really don't get how people can justify that, like at least admit that like everyone else we have our demons, and are weird in a way. Or better yet keep it to yourself weirdo.

That's like saying you're atracted to the cameraman in a micheal bay movie or something lmao Not ALL anime is like that and, I do agree, even the best anime do sometimes fall into that category, but also like you said, it's a cartoon, pixels, not a real person. Why get so upset over it and what people enjoy if it doesn't hurt anyone? Just tired of hearing/seeing the same stuff from people online, especially when half of them are projecting what they ACTUALLY do irl onto innocent people.

But if they just like the character and have a body pillow, whys it matter? And once again a surprising amount of people that don't like it and take the moral high ground are projecting. Just recently there was one dude telling others to report people that like lolis to the fbi, when he was in an ongoing court case for sexual assault. Basically as long as it doesn't hurt anyone (including the person doing it), there's really no issue.

@@karuntz Don't really care. As long as its not hurting anyone and is a completely fictional character, there's nothing wrong with it. There's a reason why "video games cause violence" is a dumb statement. Its fictional, not real, anyone in their right mind wouldn't do something like that. If its more of a preference kind of thing I completely understand, you don't have to like it to acknowledge that its not wrong or hurting anyone. And it also doesn't help that there are real children that need help and people on Twitter are harassing others that are completely innocent. OH, speaking of which. Remember when the UN tried to ban lolis when they were trafficking REAL children? Hakkasan is a club and Nobu is a hotel and restaurant inside of Caesars Palace Casino (it's in other cities too), it locates that person in Las Vegas. They aren't the MOST expensive places you can go but you can get rid of many thousands of dollars in a single date at either one if you want. If you're a normal person living in a normal city, it's pretty insufferable to say to someone "I only go on dates with ballers" but in Vegas, it's just kinda normal? Like you can assume everyone you can date online has a garbage personality, being hot or a baller is about the only thing you can reliably expect someone to offer you. And because it's Vegas, there's a non-zero chance that girl is a sex worker in which case basing your level of interest in going on a date with someone on how baller they are makes perfect sense and I hold no judgement.

Like even in New York, if you tell someone "I only go to expensive restaurants" you're being kind of an asshole. But Vegas has different rules. It's honestly not as offensive as refusing to date a man because of his height. A person has slightly more agency into how wealthy they are. I've got respect for someone who will date a person with a weird body as long as they're rich. And, real talk, if you don't have an attractive body but have a ton of money and want to date really hot people, Vegas is a good option for you.
