Thank you for another enjoyable detecting video Steve. Some nice pre-decimal finds from the local park. Looking forward to your next video. All the best.

Thanks Luke. The deeper targets are definitely out there, although it can be quite challenging to find them.

Hi Steve Ive watched your vids now for a couple years. They are always informative and enjoyable. And you always put a lot of time and effort into them. Recently Ive noticed your subscriptions are going off! Well deserved and well done. Congrats on your channel success and thanks again for another good vid. Cheers. Camille

Great vid again, thanks. I'm on the Equinox 800, if you're familiar with the settings I'm curious to know what numbers you would discriminate out. I have a feeling gold rings come up as 13, but so much other junk comes up around 14-17. I find myself mostly digging up ring pulls. Having said that, you got quite a few 1c pieces in this vid. My first KZfaq vid is mostly 1c and 2c pieces 😁

Thanks for watching! I tend to discriminate out everything below 12 at the park, however gold rings can have a TID anywhere between 6-20 or so in my experience. At the beach I dig everything (because it’s quicker than digging in soil, and the chance of a gold ring is higher at the beach). If you’ve got plenty of patience and you’re fit and strong, then digging 1000 holes in the hope one of those 6-15 targets is a ring might be an option for you, but for most it’s not. Having said that, the more you use the machine the better you can hear a “good” target, and so you’ll get better at telling the difference.

Gday Steve love what you are doing for us here as it’s really helping me out with my new Beast of a machine also your videos give me more confidence quick question do you know where I can get a target ID list of different coins jewellery gold etc like what the nox used to have if you know what I mean please? Thanks for watching. I don’t have a chart as such, but the target IDs are approx 2.5 times what they were on the Equinox. So a 16 on the Nox is a 40 on the Manticore, a 21 ($2) on the Nox is a 62-63 on the Manticore etc… Happy Hinting!

@@coilsandcoinsdetecting do you know what are $1 $2 and 50 cents on the id? I guess I can just put those coins on the ground and run the coil over the coins which will tell me but is there any difference if the coins are in the ground and not just on the surface?
