Took the Minelab Manticore metal detector out for some park metal detecting. I hit eight parks in four hours. Trying to beat the heat by starting before the sun is up!

Another great video and adventure with Bill as he cruises thru the Tot Lots. Thanks for sharing the display on the Manticore how it turns red and black. Ever time you dig a Car I look forward to watching the wrap up with Christine and her famous car sounds :) Yeah

Oh wow so many parks! Couple of good coin spills and lots of cool finds. The cars, the elephant earring and foreign coins are nice! Great hunt!

You achieved Claddy Daddy status on that hunt for sure! If that coin was 50 centavos, it’s worth about 3 pennies (I thought it was worth more). Still, always cool to find something foreign!

You're becoming very handy with that probe. Almost looks faster than digging for you. Personally, I would never go down to eight on my detector in the tot lot simply because you're going to miss some small gold there at that sensitivity level, and as you know those diamond stud earrings are hard to find even at full sensitivity. Just a thought.

Yes, I do actually like using it. I never thought I would and was reluctant at first. I will take your advice and crank up the sensitivity.... thanks for the info

I use the same rubber tips on my Garrett as well but after about 6 months of pushing it through dirt and wood chips I eventually wear out the tips and just replace them. my old Garrett I never used rubber tips and so the plastic has worn down quite a bit so now it's just my backup pinpointer.

They are great at saving the tip of the pinpointer. I buy the three pack... never wanna be without them. Wow, you are really hard on the pointer. lol

It’s good a lots of things to find old and new, the parks are very old for silver coins and chances to find a gold coins in some places
