It's great little machine, with efficient engine from PSA Group. Together? Maybe one of the best combinations ever. It still rides as MINI Cooper should, but it's very cheap to live with and in lower speeds it accelerates very well.

Iive only ever known one way to drive minis and thats like your on a really long rally stage! Just wring its neck from start to finish!.

Do you have any major problem with this 1.6 psa engine? Seems they are the best choice on diesel mini’s.. how many km/ml already you run?

Hello, I have the same mini and same 07 plate. I have the exact same speedo with the built in satnav and Bluetooth etc. How would I find out how to use it properly? Or do you know the name of this stereo system? Thank you

Rebekah Marie yes, buy a bluetooth comunicator on ebay, put it in aux and enjoy your iphone playlist :)))

Why does this cooper d have a rev limit of 7k? My r56 one d has a rev limit at 5k?

@@muldix that's wrong on the R56 they have the same engine with a different tune. They both have the same tune capabilities...

Onray ツ yes, that’s true, but Cooper D is more stylish one, thaťs purpose of different rev counter.

Mini one d have complete different engine, the pre facelift r56 Mini Cooper d has Peugeot engine(this one) and facelift (so 2010 onwards) have bmw engine.

Keep on top of oil changes as with every vehicle

@@Mr330d Well, it's quite the extreme for the mini tho. With the mini it's pretty much weekly or every 500km or so. We also have a Renault Clio and that one only needs a change once or twice a year. The Mini really seem to enjoy drrinking oil. You literally need to have a bittle of oil in the car at all times. Really fun car tho, so it's probably worth it.
