Hi how do I remove the valve , not the solenoid...my sir clip fell off...

Was it a failed Vanos system that was making the engine noise

On the older mini with the 1.6 prince engine you could simply swap over the solenoids , and see if the code followed the swap. How times changed, that looks a pig to work on, Keep up the good work.

Yeah this one tells you that it’s the one on the exhaust side I don’t see the reason in your complaint lol the old one won’t tell you whether it’s the intake or exhaust side this one does how is that not better

@@TYLERMORRIStechThe older 1.6 mini is easier and cheaper to replace both solenoids

Had this fault come up on my Mini Cooper, then not long after battery warning fault so then what came to mind is that I know that a good battery should always be around 12.7 volts for components to work efficiently . So I changed my 7 year old battery for a new one thinking it was at the end of its life. Cleared the fault codes and now completely gone and everything is as normal.

Another well maintained modern piece of junk , we never got this with a fiat 128 , always had oil pressure , just used to rot away Sandy 😂😎😎👍hes nice Dan doing these videos for us 👍👍

My father had a 128 burned more oil than petrol 🤣🤣

@@sandyande We had a marina van that did that, remember Dad overtaking a car down hill in it and looked behind and it was a literal whiteout, couldn't see anything for the smoke!

P1338 2DA0 2C58 I start the car and after 2 km an error appears while if the car is warm I can travel without problems. It happened to you too.
