4 years ago I know, how on earth did you get your hand to fit to push it through the gromet where the wiring goes, was trying to push a pin through earlier and couldn’t for the life of me get my hand anywhere near to push it through

Hi mate, can you remember whereabouts you put your ground. Assuming you branched off the cigarette fuse but where are decent grounds in the cabin of the R53?

@Tom Burnet Is the secondary O2 sensor the post-cat sensor? Or the pre-cat? In the months since making this video, have you had any issues/codes related to this mod? Asking because I’ve heard that the R53 ECU doesn’t always play well with wideband sensors.

Hey Hans, yes the sensor is the second sensor post cat. Ive had absolutely zero issues whilst running this change with a tune.

I had the same problem with the boot on the same side on mine mate, fella I bought mine from had modified the clamp itself to fix it. Looks like the same IC too!

It's a nightmare, I recon whilst I've got it in bits in the garage I may go FMIC, still weighing up options.

Hey David. Just the adaptors which Oranjje sell (or eBay) and have them mapped in at the same time.

The pre cat would have caused an eml and to run wrong. As it's the primary it needs to be there. The secondary doesn't do a great deal & can be mapped out of use.
