We like your descriptive commentary as it gives us an idea of what you are thinking as you demo a garage. Blessings to you.

One beep for stop is the standard in my line of work. If you accidentally bump the horn and someone stops, that probably won't cause an accident. Accidentally one beeping someone to move could easily result in bad things happening.

It's Sunday and I thought sure I'll watch a demo video by you. Hey, I haul 5-7k in my dump trailer with my 2019 Ford Ranger and one thing I do when I go to dump a big load of logs is I put the parking brake on and put the truck in neutral. This way the tranny is being jolted in park and the rear brakes take the force. If on a grade, I throw down wheel chocks.
@zaccheus
@zaccheus Ай бұрын
Thays an excellent idea. I believe the fellas using the trailer had a single wheel chock. We probably should have had more 😅

As expected and as usual, good stuff. You ever think of giving us some bloopers, outtakes, uh-ohs? Might be fun. Might be you're so good you don't ever have any. Just a thought. As always...stay safe buddy!

I was just wondering if you've ever thought about getting a grapple type attachment for your mini digger? I have seen some that have a wider thumb then yours and a similar one in the place of the bucket. They have the bonus of being able to scissor past each other to break up material a LOT more effectively then the setup with the bucket. You probably wouldn't even need the bucket for most of a job like this one and possibly only need it for the final clean up for the site

Yeah, I've looked into getting a hydra grapple. They're a bit expensive, but being able to rotate the grapple would be areally handy, too.

Hey dude you do a lot of Grcs work. I got a job coming up where I’m cutting down a group of trees on a hillside and a tall pine tree is at the top of group closest to the driveway where I’m chipping the wood. My plan is to send the other tree tops and wood tip tied to the pine tree and use the Grcs to lift them to the pine. My question is is do you think I should butt tie the tops and trunk wood as well to the tree I’m cutting or just send them to the pine and crank them to it with the Grcs. Haha don’t know if that makes sense to you but yeah I’m thinking to butt tie them as well to control the wood better I just don’t wanna create to unnecessary forces

I think I can imagine the set up you have. I think your biggest concern will be some loading that pine. How much side load it has will depend on the angle that the rope is loaded at. I say let them swing. Start small amd watch how the pine behaves. If you feel like you can do more, do it. Just stop making the pieces bigger before you break the pine 😂
