This is a guide on how to change your MINI F-Series Airbag Cover and replace with a premium upgrade.
Steps involve disconnecting your battery, removing the existing airbag, removing the existing airbag cover, attaching the new airbag cover and refitting the airbag.

You need this like another hole in your head. Why you want to replace the cover of a safety item with something you have no idea who manufactured, tested or verified it complies with OEM requirements. Airbas are design to perform in temperature ranges from approx. -30C to +80C. There is no test data about the Alcantara cover AFAIK.
