Mini Tornado! Arrma Typhon 6s BLX

Finally, I've been waiting to do this video and I finally found a way to mount the roller blade wheels. In this video we put Roller Blade wheels on the Typhon and have some fun with it. We do a coupe speed runs on stock and a 20T pinion then drift it around. It does some wicked donuts! I think the wheels are always spinning/ not fully gripping at high speeds. Because I feel the MPH we were achieving was a little lacking. But never the less it was a blast and i hope you enjoyed too. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it! See ya on the next one....

Lack of speed was due to tiny tires! The rooster tails on those sandy donuts were awesome!

@@SketchRC- I was just out with my TLR typhon in the city doing donuts just not anywhere near as fast as yours.

Razor scooter wheel have more diameter i think so you would get more speed. Awesome idea.

You need to Collab with a pro longboarder. Get really soft wide longboard wheels. They make them in various levels of hardness to provide extra grip.

This looks fun lol. I do fun stuff with my Typhon too haha. Should up the pinion to like 24 or so cuz of the smaller wheels !

Dude those are some really sick dounuts and drifts you did there once again you maybe on to something by adding those roller blade wheels on a rc car just imagine adding those type of wheels on a Arrma felon or a infraction since those are on more like on road style/drift cars maybe you could get the desired speed your looking for plus some more crazy ass drifts&dounuts too? Another awesome job on set up and video!

Lol Thanks Again Cue! I want a felony so bad but it's hard to decide where to put your money. Someday though and we'll have some fun with it for sure. And those donuts were insane. Like a tornado 🌪️ hahaha. Some people think it's sped up but it's definitely not.

@@SketchRC- I hear you sketch about the money I know how that goes I been flying rc airplanes since I was 14 I actually got started with a rc cars first mostly nitro but once I got in the air I never looked back but lately I've been feeling like giving rc cars another go again there so many choices lately on what to get? I have to take into consideration which one I can get spare parts or upgrades in the USA for? Also funny enough weather I want a monster truck or on road street basher or a rally car do I want a 3s or a 6s? Decisions decisions plus around my area do a have spots where I can do jumps or a spot where I can drift and do speed runs?? 😂😆😆😆

Ohhh the decisions! I've always been fascinated by aviation. My years in the service I had the privilege of flying around on Blackhawks. I know I will venture into planes/helis in the future for that reason. There's no way I wouldn't enjoy it haha.

how did you get the wheels to adapt? unless i didnt see a vid on it would be cool to see some wenching with the bashing its part of the hobby thanks bro

It was a bit of process, and kinda hard to explain but what I came up with was using hub extensions that fit 6s arrmas. Then I heated up and bent a lock washer open to then place around the extension. Heated and bent it back together so now the lock washer is normal but around extension. Then placed wheel on so once tightened down the lock washer would grip and allow the wheel to be secure. Sorry if this is confusing....

It definitely was. Way better in person too. Video doesn't really capture the full experience haha. I thought about explaining in video but was kinda complicated.

its slow because u have no traction with those smooth hard plastic roller wheels, take those off n get some GRP for high speed runs. Very creative though!. 👍
