I've watched literally hundreds of builds but I'm not a builder or carpenter and can't understand for the life of me how people are attaching the custom-designed pieces to the van itself. Nice, future van builders use the lightest timber that you can source for your build as unnecessary mass will affect fuel consumption, road handling, suspension and your budget.

Out of all the builds I've seen, and trust me, I'm in the rabbit hole watching video after video, this is the one I'd choose. I could try to build myself. If I brought it to you with the materials, would you build it and for how much?

I love this setup, it looks great but you have no videos of ya'll living in it. Is it functional for two adults and a furbaby to live in? How do you manage everyday life when you're not exploring? I'd really be interested to see how you cook and get around on a rainy/windy day.

The new Toyota Sienna’s have a curtain airbag that runs the length of the side coming out of the top. So it would be very dangerous to build up any sidewalls. Too bad, it sure is pretty and functional.

What did you do with the ceiling vents for heat and ac? I assume you decided you wouldn't be needing them and blocked them off.

The build is beautiful but y'all have a lot of space behind the side walls. I need all the space I can get. I saw a build like this and she was able to reach into the side space from outside of the vehicle so she kept emergency stuff behind the walls.

Yikes 3/4” plywood…so heavy. Glad you said you are reducing countertop to 1”, 2” soo heavy. Am curious if you insulated floor, walls or ceiling?

What do the plywood sides attatch to so it can stay up?
