Love the shelf and jars. I have a similar story about a mouse on the back steps, my granddaughter was feeding it cheese. It finally disappeared.

The canning shelf is so sweet and will be perfect in your mud room. The fly swatter is my favorite part! I love hearing your farmhouse stories and this mouse story was no exception. 🐭🚬 LOL. i don't think. the jars look at all like peanut butter silly. It all looks perfect for the Josephine house. 🥰✨

I still eat Smucker's seedless raspberry jam and strawberry jam. Can't beat it!😊 Such a cute shelf. The Josephine House definitely needs a mudroom for canned goods. When you were telling your mouse story, I thought you were going to say that a deer stuck his hoof through the door. Yikes! LOL

So wonderful Jolene! It turned out super cute!!! I love watching other creators re-imagining or customizing existing minis. It's such an educational learning curve for me in an area I really struggle with. I reckon I can make almost anything from scratch, but revamping something into something new? Nah my creative brain gets stuck in loading mode lol. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us! PS I can't wait till you get to making the fishing stuff, I want to make some mini fly fishing gear for one of my clients one day so I am very keen to see what ideas you come up with

Thank you so much. Well, I purchased a little fishing set from Temu, and it came with the pole and net. So I am going to add more detail to the pole, but now that you said that 🤔 I'm gonna have to make a little tackle box..lol, maybe a crab trap, too.❤️🥰

What a great little shelf, the jars look lovely with your makeover. Loved the story. My Mum and Dad’s house still has one of those screen doors, although it doesn’t snap shut now as the mechanism lost its spring. The house sounds very special and it is love,y that you have been a let to take its essence with you in the form of the Josephine House. 😊

Thank you so much. We would still be there if I did relocate out of state. But the memories remain. I found some springs that look like they have the potential to make the door slap shut. Im gonna give it a try and see.❤️🥰

This is great Jolene and I am fairly sure even medieval people made preserves. I think I can use this in the Inn in my diorama.

It turned out really cute!! I'm going to build a mudroom on my farmhouse, too. It's where the wringer washer, water heater, etc. will be. I plan on putting a basement entrance on the side of the house, and there will be a door under the stairs that will go to the basement as well. No basement structure, just implied.

Thank you for sharing. I am also going to add those tornado basement doors. We had some as well outside, it will just be a façade, there is no basement in the Josephine House. The old farmhouse had a well in the basement with a dirt floor... it was super creepy. ❤️🥰
