Thank you. 😂 That's great. We didn't have a hoover, but I remember around age 9 or 10, the Kirby salesman came to the door. And we purchased a Kirby. Looked similar to this one. 🥰❤️

Stop it! I just made a Hoover from scratch and I’m quite proud.🤭 I made a bunch of rain lamps and swag lamps and 1970’s Hollywood Regency lamps, too-I think we might have really really similar tastes and inspirations.😂

If you get ambitious, you might try making a miniature of a 1920s style robot. There was so much that came out of the 20s and 30s that could be considered fun. I'm especially fond of the art deco movement.

Since I can’t stand paint brushes getting frizzled from cleaning, I discovered a toothpick works quite well for enamel metallic paints. The paint flows right off the toothpick and it paints so easily. Best part is not having to use a chemical cleaner on a brush and I can just toss the toothpick.

Oooooh! I didn’t even know I needed a Hoover but now I know I do!!! LOL! Every time I watch your videos (which I do over and over and over…..) I have an irresistible compulsion to go work on making something I saw here or go shopping for something to transform! I have a lot of fun here with you…. LOL! Lol.. that happens to me all the time when I watch some of the other channels. I feel like I get FOMO (fear of missing out)..🤣 Thank you so much, I love that! You can find these vacuums in several places online. I tried to link where I purchased mine, but I couldn't find it. Ebay, Etsy, or Amazon. Also, they have ones with bent handles, which is the one I wanted and the one Denise used, I couldn't find them when I was looking. But I did a search today and found tons of them. I love Denise's room boxes. Each one has so much to look at.🥰❤️

LOL! I ordered one on Amazon right after I wrote that, it arrived this afternoon. I laughed because I was so excited about the fast arrival way out here in the boonies. I didn't need it that fast but I sure do love quick gratification! I didn't even realize that there was a bent handle on the one in Denise's room.... now I need another. :-D

@ravennorejko4492 lol wow that was super fast express. Yes they have brown ones that are similar but the handle slightly bends at an angle. I really wanted that one but after revamping this one. I'm perfectly fine with it. Lol ❤️🥰

I wonder if I can paint or decoupage on my life size vacuum which is so ugly compared to these 3 cuties! What a fun project. I do have one of those vacuums..somewhere 🤔 The bag fabrics you chose are so perfect! Even vacuums were better in the past, sigh. 😌Thanks for showing the Laundry Day room box. What a wonderful piece! My patience pants don't fit right so I never wear them. lol 😍✨

I often wonder that same thing about others I watch..lol I sanded the paint off to strip it. It came off pretty easy with a nail fail. And painted over other parts. 🥰❤️

Jolene, Thank you for sharing Denise Morales’s link! Wow, another great creative talent. It is packed with so many mini ideas. I want to make a clothes pin/peg holder. Those pegs are so teeny tiny. Thank you so much. Yes, every time I look at her room boxes, I see something different. I just love how inspiring her work is, and all the tiny details are right up my alley. I used Metallic Sequin Black by Folkart. It's super glossy. Or you could always coat with a gloss varnish. ❤️🥰

I don't know if you read your comments in order newest to oldest but I thought I would take a shot I've been following you and I just love Miss Margo I have a boarding house that I'm working on but I wanted people from day one to occupy it so I'm working on my Miss Vera the problem having and I can't find any help is the hands the arms and the legs all have wires in them how do you attach those to the body itself I am so anxious to finish her up thank you for all your help you truly have a god-given talent

Thank you so much for the kind comment, and you know what, I had the same questions. There are several ways to attach the parts. You can add the clay to the wire and bake it on the wire, or if using air dry clay, let it dry on the wire. I have learned a few things on do's and don'ts since making her. You can pre bake pieces such as the head, add clay to fuse, and attach to neck and body, then bake again. MIss Margo has a hard line separating her head and neck, because I was too impatient to add more clay to smooth that part down to make it one whole piece. So it looks like two separate parts. I baked her hands first with bbq skewer in them to make a whole for the wire, then slightly drilled the hole to fit the wire. You can drill the clay with a hand drill, it is gentle enough. They were able to slide on and were pretty tight. It was the same for the legs. But for Sophelia the Swamp Witch, I just baked the parts on the wire and skipped a bunch of unnecessary steps. Hope this helps!🥰❤️
