This is horror diorama with accurate detail. The noble thirsty soldiers were passing by a lake in the jungle and decided to fill their flasks with drinking water. They saw a woman in the water and offered to help her (hoping for a closer acquaintance), but they did not suspect that a monster was hiding in the water column! This lake is his habitat, you can see the skulls of other soldiers and the missing people at the bottom of the lake, the bait works very well.
We used Anycubic's brand new flagship 3D printer - Anycubic Photon M3 Max. bit.ly/3JDwhHR
Stunning print quality down to the smallest detail, which you can check out in the video. The latest feature in 3D printing - Anycubic Auto Resin Filling!

Spectacular work as always Minibricks! I love the fact that you always make the area around the deceiver so mossy and filled with vegetation. How the water always looks a lil gross and murky. Her enchanting song echoed through the willows of the forest, her voice as clear as spring water, the soldiers from foreign lands only grew more curious and sought out this enchanting voice, being so far from home and the endless war only made them even more longing, all they wanted was an ice cold beer and a friendly face until they heard it. The beautiful song that echoed through the forest, the captivating and alluring song awakened the foreign soldiers, quietly the soldiers crept on the vines and left no rock unturned and after passing through the harsh and unforgiving forest they saw it. A beautiful fair-maiden whose skin was coloured like olive's, thick wavy locks covered her head and an hour-glass figure, the soldiers were intrigued and called out this strange yet beautiful woman, she laughed and giggled and told them to come closer, her youthful glow entranced the foreign soldiers and drunk with lust and greed they did. It wasn't a safe time to be bathing in the everlasting spring said one of the foreign soldiers but the strange woman only shook her head in disapproval and she assured the soldiers that they are safe here, the woman urged the soldiers to step into the mystical spring as it has healing powers So trusting the foreign soldiers without hesitation placed their feet in the cold spring and then without warning the woman reveals her true form a hideous monster with long, sharp, pointy & razor teeth and tentacles so large, spikey, hideous and heavy yanked the foreign soldiers by their ankles and dragged them in the spring within a single breath the beast tore apart the soldier's bodies and devoured them whole leaving no form of evidence behind and later the beast returned to its underwater lair always ready for new victims.

@@FractalPrism. I agree. You could also argue that an animated film is the ultimate art piece. It combines writing, cinematography, editing, camera work, storyboarding, instrumental score, character design, background and setting design, compositing, lighting, clothing design, modeling, rigging, and of course, animation. And probably a whole lot more. And make it a musical, and you include musical numbers/singing/dance.

Homo-Melanocetus, or the South East Asian Siren, is a very strange creature compared to its European Counterpart. The human part appears to be merely the lure of a large predatory fish of the Lophiiformes Family. However, the human shows remarkable intelligence and autopsies (sourced from a Siren who died of natural causes) show that both heads have a distinct brain. It is possible the human half is unaware of the predatory intelligence beneath it. It is also possible that the two halves are actually a single mind. The fish half also has human level intelligence according to brain scans. The entity's first recorded encountered by US Troops during the Vietnam war. The maiden half educated the two soldiers on the folly of their ways, but when they brought back their commanding officer to speak with her, she ate him when he called her a racial slur. The entity seems to operate as a being of intense moral judgement. Be nice to it, and it won't harm you. Try to hurt it, and if will literally bite your head off. In addition to the human torso, the Siren also appears to have the tentacles of a cephalopod along its dorsal and ventral flanks. Our researchers were not able to ascertain the use of these tentacles but theorized it either used them to grapple prey or walk on land.

Very intricate and beautiful in a haunting way. The only criticism I'd like to leave is that this diorama could have used lighting from below - the lily pads and foam on the surface are a great touch, they would prevent the soldiers from noticing the monster until it was too late, but this way, the person who looks at the diorama can't see the monster's face - what I see is mainly the tentacles. The suspense would be greater, too, if we could see even more clearly the threat below the surface that the soldiers are missing.

"Help. Someone help" A woman's cried echoed the Jungle. "Sir, it's a voice." "Careful. There shouldn't be any village around here." "What if she does need out help." "We're here to kill, not save. Don't forget that." "I may be over stepping, but sir. If we help her, she might lead her to the hidden village. A Hostage in a way." The jungle was so eerie, a place that a satellite was not even helpful. Fog so dense that you could only see few meters ahead of you. Vehicles and communications outside was rendered useless. The decision was too much for the man in charge to bear after losing their commander to a monster. "No, we cannot lose any more men." He walked off, others joined. But the two men stayed. "It's going on our record." "So what, I can't leave someone out here. Wherever the hell this is." The two men walked off, to the direction of the voice. Deeper they went, their boots sinking in mud. Slowly approaching a water source. "Help... someone... help..." The voice was getting louder and louder. "Look Henry, it's a girl!!" The two rushed to save her, pull her out from the water. "The hell!! Is she stuck or something?" "Hey Tom, hel-" It only took few seconds, Tom was grabbed from his feet, dragged into the water. His air bubbled up from the surface, but soon silenced. Henry let go of the girl's hand. But it was too late, the thing's hair tangled with his hand. "GET THE HELL OFF ME!!" He struggled, he tried to cut the hair, but it grew back to trap him even further. "Ah finally, some fresh flesh." Henry was dragged into the water, her face warped into Tom's face. Henry panicked, tried to get away. But he got closer to what was it's true form's mouth. He tried to kick it, shoot and stab it to launch himself. But in his old friend's voice. It uttered. "It hurts... it hurts so much Henry... why are you hurting me like this." Henry soon ran out of air, his lungs pressured into doing so. His vision became blurry, seeing his brothers in arms for the last time. Regret filled his mind. 'Dammit... I should've listened....' Henry was soon eaten too. Not known if he drowned first or he felt the razor sharp teeth sink into his body. It was smart, it used Tom's and Henry's voice to drag out the comrades who were looking for them. The monster's stomach was full for the first time in a very long time.

The underwater light-quality, shadows, murky beams of light are phenomenal for the mood it evokes of some horror fantasy setting. Amazing craftsmanship and imagination visualized. Thank you for sharing.

I adore this diorama! You’re so very talented and I’d love to be able to do as you do someday- with that in mind, I’m curious. Why’d you make the lower level look all wet before when you were just going to put in resin later? It clearly wasn’t glue as you still had to glue down the skulls, so I’m just a bit confused haha- oh, and why’d you make a mold out of the foam? Wouldn’t it be easier to just use the foam you cut in the first place? Hope you’re doing well :)

they put a layer of resin at the bottom at first i think to seal it and add some details before the final resin

It's to seal all those small pieces that will move around as the resin cures. It's also so you have a LOT less air bubbles. When resin cures, it's creating a chemical reaction with heat causing air bubbles that will pop up from every single tiny crevice. I've noticed with their stuff is they don't put it everywhere, so they can control those, as air bubbles do naturally occur in water. Hope that helps.

Sorry if I came off as rude, I'm very ill right! Resin is an expensive hobby to start, so try to learn as much as you can before getting sticky! Ok, bye!

Awesome work! I was thinking that the vibrant pink and red colouring on top of the creature looked extremely noticeable particularly when the epoxy resin water mold was taken off unlike your other works of art where you can't see the creature when looking down into the water, but the placement of those few lilies and blooms completely camouflages the creature perfectly without the water surface looking unnatural or overcrowded.
