Minicab Flying over Lincolnshire

Күн бұрынToday we make use of the beautiful weather and take Ash's aircraft a Gardan Minicab JB-01 for a flight from Fenland airfield to Skegness.
The Minicab is a post war design aircraft with this particular model being built in France in 1959.

Beautiful airplane. Can you tell me the stall speed with flaps in landing configuration?

Steve Wilkes my man, a basic t is misleading I'm sorry, while it may have meant t shaped back in the days of the wright brothers it now just refers to the collection of instruments, perhaps that is why the term is rarely used now.

No It's an Easy Raider G CCHR with folding wings MTOW 450Kg's but it is deemed to be a Microlight!

Steve Wilkes love it, I have a lot more faith in the 502 than a butchered vw built with untraceable components, poke your head in the E-Plane hanger if you are ever over at Fenland.

Will do! I have been contacted by a Pilot who wants to buy HR and I am going to look at PV on Sunday! as the current owner is losing his strip!

Continental o-200. It was originally built with a c80

On the instrument panel at the lower right hand side, there is a notice that reads: 0-200 engine subject to icing ... and warns that periodic use of carburettor heat should be made, especially at low rpm
