I'd love something like that. I want a small keyboard but hate combos that require you to snap the iPad into a case, since I prefer to hold the "naked" iPad for reading, without extra bulk or weight. This combo seems ideal in that way. Safe travels!

Hey Marcus, I noticed in the video that there were some traditional paper planners. It would be great to see how you organize your calendar and planner in a future video. Despite being a fan of technology, I still find myself drawn to paper planners for some reason. However, I am definately open to Ai integration in digital ones as well if I could see some more practical benefits. Great video and looking forward to more content!

I deliver the mail and most days have my iPad mini in the Tokyo folio in my bag (usually bellroy/carryology chimera, was lucky, got last one on huckberry about a year ago) for lunch breaks. I generally do duo lingo Spanish, email, a rare Journaling moment, videos or reading while eating lunch at McDonald's. Thirty minutes isn't a lot of time but enough to do a few things while eating.

I enjoyed the video, Marcus. Did you bring both pairs of glasses with you? When the battery on the Ray-Bans dies, do you keep wearing them as normal glasses until the end of the day, or do you whip out the Warby Parkers right away?

I wear the Ray-Ban all day when I have them on. So for example on the plane I didn’t need them to be on so I switched them off to save the battery. If they do die when I’m out and about it’s no big deal, I’m just wearing regular dumb glasses then. They’re not that heavy for me, at least not with my giant head 😂 so I don’t notice the difference.

Had some cheap pocket notebooks but this was worth the wait and a little additional cost. Harder and harder to get stuff in Ireland it seems

Thanks pal. Really appreciate how positive this community is. The clear glasses are from Warby Parker, model Durand. They’re $99 a pair so I buy them in 3 or 5 packs. I’m tough on glasses. The new Ray-Ban glasses are epic 🤓

Hi, I really like your videos, especially everything about the iPad mini since I find it the best for on-the-go use. Could you please make a video about all the possible accessory options and your favorite choices? I want to set up an iPad mini for myself but I’m not sure, for example, if it's better to get the Apple case and a foldable keyboard, and if that keyboard would fit into the Tokyo Fold. Also tested/reviewed Plaud Note recently. It’s a GREAT little device, with some important considerations for anyone concerned about data privacy, depending on what country you’re from. Everyone I’ve shown it to has bought one though!!

I’d also bring a small USB C flashlight. I really like the Rovyvon E8. It has a AAA backup battery in addition to the internal li battery. I’d also change the battery pack to the Nitecore NB 10000. It’s small and very lightweight with more capacity.

I’ve got both the RovyVon E8 and the Nitecore 10000. Good taste. I chose the Miiso over the Nitecore just to save space on cables. Ultimately regretted not bringing a flashlight though. Great shout.

I know the Ray Bans shoot in portrait by default. What do you use to change it to landscape? presuming it’s done in post and is there an easy way to do it on iPhone/iPad?

Yep did it in post. I just cropped the video to basically cut the top part and bottom part off the portrait video and zoomed in.

Yes. I’ve used it to ‘top up’ my iPad mini. On my most recent trip to Ireland it even kept my kids 11” iPad Pro running for an extra hour. It’s perfect to just get you through for a bit.

It does. These are the new Meta Ray-Ban that came out 2 months ago. There is a previous version called ‘Stories’ from 2 years ago without the LLM. Do you maybe have those?

On second look, I think the creator focused the camera to his mic's boom arm, so the content was out-of-focus shame as I think I would of enjoyed this video, but I gave up since it's too blurry

@@CreachterZ Plaud.AI uses ChatGPT 4 to record, transcribe and summarize calls and meetings. ChatGPT is a Large Language Model, (LLM) are a sub-category of AI. ugh, AI recorder....I hate AI, it's nothing but theft as every AI was trained on stuff scraped from creators. Plus if it can hear the other person on a phone call, then you need to tell the other person they're being recorded as that is a massive privacy\security issue.

100% on the transparency comment. There have always been ways to record people and this is not intended for ‘stealth recording’. But it is a great way to take notes on calls, summarize meetings and share action items afterwards. But yes, you need to be up front

@@paulstevens1493 I think you really need to do some more research on the implications of what you're saying. These are big corporations making billions from the work of artistic creators without any money flowing to those people. These are not "everyone" individuals which don't make billions from reading a book. It is NOT a question of credit and scale. You keep saying "everyone" like AI is human, an AI is not human. An AI is not an "everyone". Your analogies and comparisons are way off.

@@samuelmartinelli7730 You're not trained on data scraped, you took the time and learned. That is a big difference to what it done with AI where it just detects key points of art, and writing, and then mimics it. YOU learn and as you do so it creates your own style.. THAT is how people grow. AI doesn't do that. It's 100% theft of work. Just ask all the authors who have had their books and work scraped without permissions just so someone can type "in the style of" and have it output like said author.

I'm just having enough of the influx of AI that is actually not making productive use... and just wait, in a few years there will be videos or blogs about how using ai I was not as productive as I thought.. (same as everything)
