Hi Joselyn! I have considered a more expensive backpack with better “features”. But having a cheaper one means that I don’t have to be too precious with it. It goes on the floor on airplanes and in airports, so I don’t see the need to get something expensive. We will see how long this backpack lasts, I have been eyeing up a Tom Bihn but the price tag is hard to justify… 🫶🏼

Hi, Annabel! Toiletries can be a challenge! I like to consider not “Which (mini-sized) toiletries do I need?”, but “How much of these toiletries will I need to use?” Example, I wouldn’t need an entire travel sized eye cream since I’m only going to use a pea-sized amount for 3 days. So, I can put just a smidge of it in a tiny sample container & be good to go!

Hi 👋🏼 i love your packaging and minimalist style. Thanks for sharing. I’m also a book lover (the smell and feeling of holding a book is amazing!) but just would like to say that once you try an e-reader you won’t regret it. E-readers with e-ink screens are just like paper. No eye fatigue and honestly super lightweight and convenient unlike an ipad. Ask someone to borrow you one. Give it a try. You honestly won’t regret it. Sending a hug and keep up with One bag travels ❤

As for the e-reader I actually don’t know anyone that owns one to borrow! 😅 I also find it funny how a lot of viewers like to push this upon me, but I am truly happy with carrying a book. My iPad has other purposes I need for a trip so I would not swap out one for the other, meaning that I would have to carry both an e-reader and the iPad anyway, so I’d rather just have the book. I saw somewhere where you can actually purchase shoulder pads for the kanken! Could be a way to keep using it since it’s so cute😅

Hi Karen! I think the shoulders pads that are sold separately are the ones that already come with my laptop Kånken, as I haven’t seen anything else! So sadly, I won’t be able to make them more comfortable, but thank you for the suggestion! 🫶🏼

Cute doesn’t matter when carrying isn’t comfortable. Keep the weight down and it’s tolerable

Hi! 100% agree! It is a shame though if you like the style of a backpack and it isn’t as comfortable. For me weight is not an issue as I don’t pack heavily. Just comparing it to my Targus which is much more comfortable, I always will choose it over my Kånken. Thanks for the input! 🫶🏼

Great video as always Annabel! Would also love to see the collection video you mentioned, I know you’ve been over them but would be fun to see still for someone like me who is trying to keep my collection small and intentional but it’s also tricky as you have to go through trial and error!

And I certainly relate, bags for me was harder to pare down and still is as I used to be into designer bags a lot more than I am now and it’s harder to part with those. Shoes and jumpers were my other big category but my mindset has shifted a lot through minimalism.

Hi! Thank you for the suggestion, but I have been using my nose strips for around 5 years and have no problems with them! I always moisten the strip before peeling it off. I also searched Intake breathing strips and the price is way too much for what it is ($39.99 for 15! Mine are 310 for $26.99), thanks also for watching! 🫶🏼

@@MinimallyAnnabel I guess it depends on how you view invertebrates. Leaping Bunny might approve, but personally, I won't use snail based products due to the collection process from the snails. It's a stomach-turning process, to me. I really to reiterate this is my personal opinion, but I thought you'd want to know. Pardon me if this comment is unwarranted

@@thatgirlrandi727Peach slices processes snail mucin by letting them walk on tiny grates - harmless. They also don't spend their whole life doing that. Dont know how that's stomach turning bro.
