I would recommend wearing the bulkiest items (sweater, jeans) on your traveling day. Optional, but you can clip on a carabiner to the backpack top handle and clip your hat there. I love the Kanken. Wish it got more love for traveling because it’s a great traveling bag. Osprey and Patagonia have great ones too.

Great tip! I had a lot of bulky items for this trip since it was so cold. I will pare down next time. Awesome idea using a carabiner for my hat. I always have one on me! Thanks for watching 😊💕 I love my Kanken it’s so great for travel!

Love those compression bags. I only take carry-on on every trip. Extra room to bring back gifts would be handy. 👏🇦🇺

I have the same pair of bags like yours when I travel too, the uniqlo bag is really helpful. Opt for a bigger size Kanken though. thank you for sharing your video!

I love kanken travel videos, please make more! I use the classic one on shorter trips and would love to try the 15in but the price is just so steep :(

I love my kanken 🎉 I just did a solo trip ultra minimalist. It really wasn't a good plan for me. I leave at the end of April for a 5 day trip, I'm going carry on and personal item only. Last trip was personal item only. 🎉 my husband makes fun of me for keeping my purses in dust covers. They are pricey! I want to take care of them. (I only have 4) I have the Kate Spade belt bag, and I highly recommend it.🎉 Have the best trip!
