There have been a lot of videos recently in the gold and silver stacking community regarding mining stocks. In this video we discuss some of Mining stocks role in our portfolio and how we should manage out portfolio on whole. Overall, our portfolio should include an emergency fund held in cash or cash equivalents, a separate emergency fund consisting of precious metals, a growth portion consisting of our retirement accounts, and finally our fun money or speculative investments. I view mining stocks and really the purchase of any single stock as being in that speculative part of our portfolio. We need diversification to limit our risks and increase our growth potential in the long run.
