They tend live in overcrowded conditions because of their very large families living in a multigenerational way. No one asked them to have large families. I have to curtail my family size because I simply cannot afford a large family based on my salary nor a big house for the space.

The reason they are disproportionately more affected is that they are also disproportionally less likely to follow the rules. Throughout lockdown I have watched them from my window constantly flouting the rules. Endless family gatherings, illegal parties and constant loitering in groups in the park drinking, smoking weed and generally being antisocial. It's got nothing to do with racism, it's purely a ingrained cultural propensity to being objectionable.

She's spot on - no one would ever suggest the COVID impacts on the Orthodox Jewish community were due to systemic anti-Semitism - yet it's perfectly ok to infer that when it relates to Black or Asian communities - no one dare comment on the elephant in the room which is massively over-populated housing and local communities, not because people are forced to live that way due to racism, but because culturally it's ok to have 10-15-20 people in a household, it's ok to effectively segregate yourself in growing communities that resemble somewhere from the Far East than anywhere in modern Britain. Many people may not relate to that but it's a fact and it HAS to impact how Covid would spread and impact those people. Rather than lay the blame at the door of 'white' people - why not just say it as it is!
