I have the minn kota powerdrive with foot control. Buried it in the mud and it wouldn't work. Followed all this and it worked again. Thanks for posting this video!

Just purchase a PD V2 and it worked great first time out. Then second outing and it had the exact same issues as you. Everything on remote worked except the prop. Followed your video and sprayed all contacts with cleaner and all is good. These control boxes go for over $300 CDN. Yiu saved me hundreds. Thx for this video, bro. Tight lines

Did that remote control come with your PowerDrive or was it extra?

Just had this same thing happen for the first time today and exact same steps to resolve it. Have you seen this happen again ever since making this video? Hate it cause this was our first ever day of using this motor and already ran into this.

My problem is my prop spans just fine out of the water but as soon as I put it in the water, it stopped spinning. I’ve already installed a new electrical switch in the head of the trolling motor. What do you think?

What was the video you watched for control board fix?

Every control on mine works but the prop jsut like he’s I did the test and my prop spins but I reconnected the switch wires and it still won’t work

Did the troller still turn left and right with the bad switch? Just trouble shooting my own power drive issue

Can I do this same thing on a ultrex ?

What a piece of junk if you have to do this I got a less then 6 month old riptide that just stopped working POS 1600 dollars

Had the same problem but didn't hit anything. Just stopped working mid lake. Ordered a new control board and still doesn't work. The place that sold me the board has been great help and walked me through everything and I need to send it back so they can test it. Hopefully they fix the problem or send a new board. Minn Kota on the other hand has been useless. won't answer their phone and don't respond to emails. Terrible company and will not buy another Minn Kota ever again. In the process of contacting BBB and Attorney General Office.
