Story time - I went to go ice camping tonight...... I setup all my gear, tent, bed etc. Took about 3 trips by foot and sled. Went to plug in my heater and realized I got the wrong hose. I packed everything back up since there was no way I was freezing all night and it was already getting dark. I decided to fish for a minute after I finally got everything back off the ice and loaded up. I ended up catching a 2 pound rainbow trout within 10 minutes. I left happy. ;) There's always next week. haha.

Oakland Maine to fish on my lake that I live on. It's snow pond we got Pike splake brown trout salmon Brooke trout and I actually have a 4.5 pd brown trout this year

You boys always come up with some darn good videos to watch for sure!! But the one thing it was missing was some cleaning fish & some good old cooking the fish!! If you would have done some cooking in the video I think that would have set it apart from every one else!! Still awesome video though boys!! Keep up all the hard work!!!!

@@wag14tha lmao bro I’m trying to make a point it’s not English class either if you want to sustain good size fish you need to let them reproduce and keep their genetics in the lake that’s how you keep big fish in lakes fishing isn’t only about the fun and food aspect it should just as much be about the conservation and longevity of the fish. But that being said you probably don’t know about that 😃🤷🏽♂️

@@wag14tha think of this: if everyone thought your way and said a few fish every now and than doesn’t hurt and they take the biggest fish out of the lake how will the fish keep their good genetics in the lake (they won’t) The point I’m trying to get across is take what you need for a meal or two so you don’t have to freeze them than go back to the lake later or go to another lake and get more but be courteous of the average size is and pick under that :) (they are usually better eating anyway!)
