4 жыл бұрынIn this video I share how to make minor timing adjustments to engines with VVT hubs. Volvo's from 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, etc. V70, V70XC, S70, V70R, S60, S80, S40, V40, V50, XC90, etc.
This car had error code P0014.
Torque hub bolt to 10nm (7.5 ft lbs or 90 in lbs).

The exact answer I needed thanks. The Volvo technician scanned at idle and exhaust cam is reading +22deg (with ideal being -8 to +8deg. My pulleys are fully advanced so gather setting them in the middle or even other end of the slot should get me within the limit

Hey, Robert! You really helped me with the catalyst converter problem on my S70 T5, thanks!!! Just bought 2001's S40 with B4164S2 engine and VVT on intake, with emission problem - can't pass the emission test. Previous owner removed catalyst converter, so I put it back and changed second lambda, but nothing changes. When engine warms up it has an interesting clicking somewhere from timing belt area, and the engine revs really slow up to 3000rpm (like REALLY slow) after 3000rpm it runs really good. Could all this be related to VVT???

Sad to say I am giving up my '97 850 GLT because it needs a new steering rack. It still runs and it's in pretty good shape. I'd hate to see it end up it the junkyard. I'm in Burlington, VT.

Hey Robert, I have a 1999 s70 awd. Does v70 drive shaft same as the s70?? I had to replace mine. Thanks a lot Rob.

The 8mm bolts should be tightened by 10nm.
