Frank taught family member that about 10 years ago . 50 yard BZO shot at 10 yards . If I remeber it correctly you draw 1" dot and then measure down 1.9" ( EXPS3) and draw another 1" dot . Go back 10 yards and aim at top dot and should impact at bottom dot . This will be you pretty damn accurate 50Y BZO . Obviously you need to confirm at 50 but in a pinch she'll work . Jerk The TRIGGER has the targets you can print off for 50Y BZO shot at 10Y . Also Vigilance Elite has the print off targets for 36Y BZO shot at 25Y. 36Y and 50Y BZO are my preferred for non BDC optics . I definitely favor 36Y but usually end up doing 50Y BZO . 100Y is my go too for Xmas Tree Mil FFP . Nice video bro. I'm taken my Block II-ish out to the range tomorrow to get it dialed in . The real question is what BZO are you using for your Offset or Top Hat MRDS / Micro .

Sounds like you are on the right track! I used to use the 36yd zero but now I find ammo my rifle likes and then use a calculator to find the max point blank range (MPBR) out to 300yds or whatever you want and then zero for that on red dots/LPVOS. My 17" never goes more than 3.4" above the dot or 3.6" below the dot out to 300yds so I don't have to adjust within that range. This is what the magical 36yd zero is attempting to accomplish but it's very weapon and ammo specific.

Just found this channel today. Badass dude! Keep it up this is great! Super Jelly of that setup. It’s damn slick! Since Biden is coming after pistols I upgraded my 11.5” to a block 2 upper with a dead air 3 prong. I found the upper on thanksgiving day at brownells for only 680 bucks. It was a hella a steal! Now I’m seeing this and I’m like “should I forget about the MK12 and do a block 1 next?”

Feel bad that you have to deal with people... My local range, while my clones do amaze people, they don't do that kind of thing. The fawning and stupid shit is the worst. As for myself, the most I ever do is tell people if their extractors are too tense and are throwing shells into my face.

I thought the chamber was supposed to stay unlubricated.
@seijiroukikuoka5975
@seijiroukikuoka5975 Жыл бұрын
Sometimes, especially firing suppressed or steel cased ammo, it's not a bad idea to lube the chamber a touch. When you break your rifle in, a touch of lube is not bad either, and might just be needed. Do it right, and it'll be okay.
@ComeOnPelican91
@ComeOnPelican91 Жыл бұрын
@@seijiroukikuoka5975 was curious because it's been a while so I looked it up. Apparently lube in the chamber stops the expanding case from grabbing the walls of the chamber and increases the amount of thrust the bolt experiences. It seems however that in the real world AR15s don't blow up due to a tiny bit of oil in the chamber.
@seijiroukikuoka5975
@seijiroukikuoka5975 Жыл бұрын
@@ComeOnPelican91 Exactly. Theories rarely add up in reality. Theories don't also account for that most of the time, the chambers are so unpolished, it would actually be detrimental to extraction if there's no lubricant to assist. Oh and, don't even get me started on poorly finished chambers that could have had burrs.

Omg, so nice to see a quadrail. The keymod and mlok fad is so annoying. It's like an old 80s huge 4x4 with 44 inch Boggers on 15 inch rims. Now its 40 inch rims and rubber band tires.
