Plot: Irma Vep revolves around Mira, an American movie star disillusioned by her career and a recent breakup, who comes to France to star as “Irma Vep” in a remake of the French silent film classic Les Vampires. Set against the backdrop of a lurid crime thriller, Mira struggles as the distinctions between herself and the character she plays begin to blur and merge.
Episode 1: When disillusioned A-list Hollywood actress Mira Harberg arrives in Paris to immerse herself in the coveted role of iconic villainous Irma Vep in a remake of Feuillade's The Vampires, an encounter with her former lover Laurie reignites dormant passions. Meanwhile, the project's acclaimed director Rene Vidal struggles as production woes threaten to derail his vision.
Episode 2 premieres on Monday, June 13th around 9pm EST, on HBO Max

Must be infuriating wanting someone back that you had but instead played! 😂Laurie making it known she has Mira around her fingers and using it to every ounce of her advantage and Mira can’t do anything about it cause a big part of her wants Laurie to come back to her! Too bad it won’t be easy

Laurie looks so good, she's playing her card well. She knows Mira really want her back...so she want her spinning on her own terms. Infuriating and complex but it's kinda interesting to follow what comes with this relationship.

They are so toxic its uncanning... I hate that I love it. I believe laurie wants her back to but as she said "balanced relationship", makes me think Mira didn't really appreciate her before. She was probably having her cake and eating it. I think some time in future she will express her feelings again and we all know that once you open that door there is no going back. Mira better come correct this time. I believe she has deep feelings for her too. There's just a lot to unpack with these two.

This just really means that Laurie loved Mira when they were together. But Mira wasn't that really into her that time. But when she lost Laurie and knew that she got married, she realized that she loved her too. Super toxic and revengeful but daaamn! I think they still have feelings for each other. The chemistry (hot, sexy, funny and many more) 🤧💖💖💖💖

For someone to be treating you like this you have hurt the person deep inside all I can see here is Laurie is a sweet and wonderful partner Mira did not really appreciate her when they where together and she is getting back every pain that she felt when Mira was hurting her. Well, Laurie's def not in love w/ Herman or she wouldn't give a damn about her past w/ Mira & revenge wouldn't be on her mind. Mira must have really hurt her. It seems to me that when women get screwed over by other women, they often rebound w/ men to make their exes feel insecure & inadequate as if their relationship was just a phase anyway, or as one of my bros puts it, "they always come home to the 🍆". And that drives WLW crazy even if they're bi themselves. What an insult, lol! My ultimate fantasy plot twist would be that some tragedy puts Mira's current assistant temporarily out of commission & Laurie offers to pitch in just to make her presence a source of misery to Mira. She really wants to see her to beg!
