So yep we have some miracle berries which come from Synsepalum dulcificum - a plant known for its berry that, when eaten, causes sour foods subsequently consumed to taste sweet. Expect unusual flavours and weird reactions!

I once bought micracle berry powder and a co worker and I took them prior to going to the company canteen. I had bought lemons and put them in a net like oranges. Co worker and I ate those lemons and told everyone they were new yellow oranges. To us it tasted sweet and we quite enjoyed our juicy citrus fruit, but anyone else who had a bit ... not so much :)

Just like hour toothpaste get's rid of all sensation of sweet (that's why orange juice tastes so bitter and horrible, and something super sweet just tastes bland) the miracle berries do the same for sour, so it only works for sour things (it didn't work for the lemon cos they didn't wait.)

It did work for the lemon though, they said it tasted like a sugary version of a lemon. It’s still going to taste like a lemon because the flavor doesn’t change much, only the sourness

So nice of you to advertise the drug. :) But I thing that you should have done it in a different way - like at least chopping the food bits into small sampler cubes so that it wouldn't be instantly recognizable by its shape.

My grandad use to make pickled gherkins too sweet, because you do add a pinch of sugar, but his were just sweet like candy, it was absolutely horrible.

my experience with miracle berry tablets they really kick in a few minutes after taking. so just right off the bat things tatse pretty normal.

What kind of non nice strawberries have you people been eating? Strawberries are very sweet, at least where I come from. It's basically like putting a sugar cube in your mouth but less intense.

Our strawberries are amazing too, but yeah, the imported ones are pretty bland and is better than sugar
