Repentance gives me strength. I have been wanting to give my wife and children a priesthood blessing but i dont feel worthy enough. As i pray to heavenly father and pour out my heart i feel strengthen, and instantly receive reassurance that i can be worthy. The promptings i feel are to Constantly pray, feast from the word of god and his servants, i couldnt have received a clearer answer. This world is loud and ready to distract us from being worthy. This church is true, the heavens are open our father loves us and wants us with him. Dont give up and pray with true intent.

Our adversary wants to tell us that we are not worthy, and I truly believe that when you don’t give blessings to your wife and your children, you’re denying not only yourself blessings but them. You are loved and you are worthy. I’m a recovering alcoholic and addict. For a long time I suffered but I’ve been redeemed. I just got my four years chip on April 6. I just started reading the book of Mormon again and I’ve been going to church every single week because I know I need to take the sacrament and remember those blessings. I am far from perfect and I live in daily repentance now. God is so good!

Thank you @VICTOR7oh2 I love that. I love those promptings that you recieved because they are what the Lord has also told us in the scriptures like in the Come Follow Me this week. King benjamin tells his sons to search diligently the scriptures. Thanks for sharing!

Don't hesitate I did because I felt unworthy and now wished I had done it given them blessing. Trying to do it will give you more knowledge and strengthen you and God will assist you with this. Every time you do it you will become strengthened. Never pass up any opportunity to give anyone a blessing if the opportunity arises it is a blessing to you to help with God's blessings as well as whomever you are blessing.

The day of miracles has indeed not passed and in fact shall increase in frequency as we approach the second coming of Christ. I myself have seen miracles and been preserved by the hand of God.

I, too, know that Jesus is the Christ, that He came to earth to show us how to live into eternity. I have been blessed to be healed from cancer, and other things. I know that angels stand between us,and with us, whenever we call upon God in faith, for protection, healing, peace... whenever we do so with faith, and in His name. Even in the sacred name of Jesus Christ...

I know many different types of angles and when I was in a coma,things happened to me and I understand that only Heavenly Father could have allowed this to come to be. I am so thankful for our Priesthood and the many men who have given me blessings and yes I feel the power of Priesthood Blessing always works for me and those who I know. I Love this: Miracles, Angels & Priesthood Power! These are in order or the blessings promised when we make and keep our temple covenants! He knows this because He is Living it! Listen to Bednar, Nelson & Eyring (the last three conferences for what comes after these. Go to the temple more and receive these from The Lord!

I too feel this is an outstanding talk. He was my stake president before he was called to be a general authority and we had good discussions. We share the same name but were never able to make the connection. I am none the less pleased. I'm grateful Emily recovered and is now a mother and a wife.

I'd like to say I truly believe in this stuff as a member of the church sadly reality tells me other truths it's truly unfortunate how much one truly changes etc a man never truly is worthy of the Priesthood, Absolution, Redemption or even True Forgveness atleast im not and will never be

This is why the atonement of Jesus Christ is so precious! We can't cleanse ourselves no matter how hard we try. We keep repenting and making sincere effort to be better. Don't give up! Don't give in to despair! Through the atonement of Christ we can be made clean to return to God. Jesus has already paid for everything bad we've ever done and will do. All we need to do is keep trying to be better.

We are redeemed through the sacred Blood of Christ. He is the one who is worthy. Not us. The first principle of the Gospel is Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and THEN comes repentance.

Not true. Please have faith and pray all day. Please read your scriptures. Be close to God. You will feel the spirit. You will want to change. Treat others with no judgement just love. Judgement is hate. Do not judge yourself. You can't be perfect but through repentance you can be worthy. You will have much more joy.being good and clean. You are God's child. He loves you. I love you. My heart hurts for you. Please try. You will be happier, I know this. That is reality!

Hi Michael, You can absolutely be worthy through the infinite grace of Jesus Christ! Of course besides Christ, all mankind have fallen short of the glory of God. I.E. Noone is close to perfectly obedient to God's commandments, however if we believe, and act with just a particle of faith, God will heal us, and will give us the power to be little by little more like him. If that wasn't true we wouldn't have much or any purpose in being created by him. We should pray to be able to see ourselves through the perfect lenses of God's celestial vision. God bless you!
