I think people are so drawn to her because of how authentically a kid she is, and I don't mean that in a bad way. She literally just goes out on court and plays the game and enjoys the ride. You couldn't ask for a better outlook on life. I hope she continues to be that way as she gets older and starts to win matches. She reminds me of Ons in that way, Ons is just a big kid who has fun doing what she loves. This young 16 year old is inspiring for me as a 28 year old guy. I truly appreciate her genuine love of life and humor.

I'm writing this following her defeat by Madison Keyes, and have to say I am gutted for her. What a totally unfair umpire to treat her that way. Whoever she is, she should be truly ashamed of herself. Mirra might or might not have won anyway but that's not the point. For goodness sake, she is only 16 and is doing her very best to control her feelings on court. OK she makes the occasional blip, but don't we all? She clearly was trying to keep her balance and did not throw her racket. She is a lovely young Lady, has a great sense of humour and is one unbelievable tennis player. Cannot wait to see you again, Mirra😍

Sloane was great, Pegula was great, but am I missing something? Why hasn't Tennis Channel had the American men up to the set during this Roland Garros thus far? No Foe, no Fritz, no Giron, who are all flying high into the third round. Foe may have the biggest celebrity crossover status in the men's game right now, Fritz is number 1 and had such a dramatic match and controversial ending, still, no interviews with TC?

nah but she is young, fresh on the scene, not giving scripted answers, seems genuine and it's all new to her so she is enjoying the attention and i'm here for it. Ask Venus or Serena those sort of questions and they'll just say each other. The other girls refuse to give each other any compliments too
