I know this was awhile back and things probably have changed a bit but if not a few helpful tips. Grab a trailer hitch ball to round out the merge collectors for the v band flanges. Grab the harbor freight hole punch kit it’ll turn that tube expander into a hydraulic tube expander, replace the jaws in that vice with about a 4” tall piece of aluminum or copper 1/8 thick makes it so much nicer.

Amazing video, clean a$$ shop. That Northern Tool fab table is the best thing I've ever bought. Seen so many people spending $500,000 for a table...?! Also that Tig welder I just purchased as well. Simple products get people amazing results! Thanks for not trying to tell everyone they need a Miller welder!! Stay up!

Norman Fab thanks man. I am using a burnishing wheel that I am struggling to find the link for! Someone else asked and I have yet to find where I got it from! 😭

Its just a 3m wheel i found on amazon.

Could you use a mig welder if somebody doesn’t have access to a tig for a exhaust manifold?

Yes you can. A skilled person with mig is not scared. A less skilled lesson with mig is probably really successful. Welding is welding. The science is nearly the same

I’m completely clueless about turbo anything, so forgive the dumb question: Wouldn’t a log style have made it a lot easier to get that manifold in the tight space?

Unlikely, but even then it would not accommodate the performance we need. Not a dumb question!
