MirrorCam - A Dash Cam of a different sort!

In this video I install and review the Discovery H609 Mirror-Mounted dash cam from VanTop. Mirror mounted dash cams strap on to your existing factory rear view mirror, making for extremely easy, touch-screen manipulation and negating the need for additional suction cup windshield mounts.
At $70, This is a low to mid-level product from a price/feature standpoint when compared to other Mirror cams, which range in price from $20 all the way up to several hundred dollars. Here's a link to the product:

Yeah man, I've got a couple mirror cams from different vendors and have been using them for years. This one has the best video and audio I've seen yet though. Definitely worth the money.

Man that thing is pretty awesome. I had considered getting one but was hesitant......after seeing this I think I will be ordering one now. Seems like good video and sound quality for the price. Love hearing that supercharger man😍

Good to hear from you again bro! Yeah these are pretty good for the price, but I like them because I hate having stuff stuck all over my windshield, and I don't want to have to interact with a phone app to view my footage, as is the case with the cams that don't have a view screen. I had a different rear dash cam mounted on my louver before this one and it lasted several months without issue. I ultimately swapped it out because it only had 680 resolution. Thanks for watching!!

Does it record over old unneeded footage? I've got one that I have to manually delete all vids and if this one doesn't I'd definitely swap

Yes it does, which is called loop recording. It will overwrite the oldest video when there's no more space on the card, unless you lock a specific video. Locking prevents them from being overwritten.
