@@CTHellcat have you had to replace the fog lights since install? Also, on my current bumper I have SRT 392, can I use the splitter off the factory bumper or will I need a new one.

@@ambitious_tee2306 no, none of the fitted splitters will work on this bumper. That's my biggest disappointment with this bumper. You have to go with a completely flat splitter with rods.

@@CTHellcat I have a flat splitter I got from liquid vinyl and I wanted to make sure because it’s connected to the bumper tray at the bottom of the factory bumper. I also have rods connected to it too.

I just hit 120,000 on my mustang GT everything still runs good The only problem I’ve had is to put in a new starter in and some wheels but that’s because I am prob doing way more burnouts then I should 😂

Great video with lots of facts. So many people get on u tube with incorrect information about the 66 & 67 Chargers. I was a senior in high school when they came out. I was really impressed and always thought they were beautiful. In 1978 I had a chance to buy a 66 from the original owner. I flew up to see it and bought it. It’s a 383 4bbl, automatic transmission, power steering, factory air conditioning and standard drum brakes. It had 39+k original miles and I took it for a pre purchase inspection which it passed easily. I bought it and drove it about 1200 miles home. It ran and drove beautifully. By the time I got home it had a little over 40k and now has 52k. Obviously I still own it. Everything still works perfectly including the A/C. I keep it garaged and take it out regularly for short drives. It’s one of the best cars I’ve ever owned and don’t think I’ll ever part with it. I have three kids, the oldest is a daughter who remembers going for rides on Saturday nights and she wants it. Got a son 4 years younger than her and he wants it. The youngest is from the now generation and says it’s too big for him. Not sure what to do with it when the time comes???? Sure love that car.

I bought this 2016 hellcat used in December of 2018 with 20k miles on it and about 6 months left on the factory bumper to bumper warranty. With the exception of replacing rear end and rear axles (which I chalk up to taking the car on several road courses), the car has been rock solid. I still get excited every time I drive this car - it's truly my happy place.

Wires come from the trunk to the outside of the rear window. I tape them to the edge of the window where they hidden by the louver and connect them to LED strips that have adhesive on the back. . It really wouldn't be possible without the louver being able to hide the wires.

Could be the motor, or possibly a fuse. Have you checked the fuse boxes? There's typically a fuse box in the engine compartment and possibly one in the trunk. I don't know specifically where the sunroof fuse would be in all the different models.

I cant stand plastic louvers I have a Challenger T/A Plus I spent just under $500 and bought aluminum louvers that mount with a plate and a screw in the center on each side. To mount you clean the window then wipe a solution on that comes with the kit. Let that dry then put a thin coat of glue on that also comes with the kit and wait 24 hours to put the louvers on. I can take them off anytime I want to clean the window. They have been on for 5 years with no problems.

Yep, what you describe is great if you have a louver with mounting pods. Many louvers don't come with pods though, which is where the Velcro solution can come in handy. Thanks for sharing your experience.

It really doesn't interact with the uconnect console. It's primarily accessed by the uconnect app on your phone - for location services, remote start and unlock, etc.

This is the only way I know how to fix it, but this will only work if you had performance pages from the factory. The only other thing I could suggest is that you get a Tazer from Zautomotive.com

Don’t have a hell cat but just bought a rear strut brace for my e46 m3. Hoping to have the same results as you. I’ve seen so much stuff online the a rear strut brace is pointless, but I just don’t see how it wouldn’t have a solid positive effect.

I'm guessing it depends a lot on the factory suspension of the vehicles. Chargers are big heavy cars that aren't known for good handling, so there's a lot of room for improvement. M3's on the other hand are already great track cars. Hope you see some improvement!

@@CTHellcat might not be as drastic as a big muscle car but e46 m3s definitely have some body roll in the rear. Even though mine are reinforced now they are notorious for rear subframe cracking. I do wonder if a beefier sway bar would be better for the problem I’m trying to solve but I guess we’ll see.

I live in the northeast and don't have a lot of alternatives in the winter when I can't wash the car in my driveway. However, I only use touchless washes, but even with those there are high powered blowers that can cause louvers to come off.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 2020 and later wide body chargers don't have fog lights, so this bumper does not provide a slot for fog lights. if you are installing this on a trim level that has factory fog lights you will not be able to install them on this bumper.

The 2020 and later wide body chargers don't have fog lights, so this bumper doesn't have a slot for them. I installed this on a narrow body hellcat, so I didn't have factory fog lights to begin with. The strip LEDs I put on are just generic lights I found on eBay and are hooked up to a separate switch that I ran into the cockpit. So they are not controlled by the factory head light switch.

@@Ap3tonaAJ Wouldn't you just connect them to a common bluetooth controller - So all of your flow series lights are controlled together? If you don't have enought ports on your controller, you can buy cable splitters to add more lights to a single controller.

Yes it should. The Velcro and other components are not that expensive, so give it a try. If you're not happy with it, then you can always go back to drilling holes and you'll only be out a few bucks for the Velcro.

Thanks for the video! Great info! I called Uconnect Access to get the adapter for our 2015 Cherokee. They don't offer the adapter for 2014-2018 Cherokee. Ugh.

Yes - unfortunately several people have reported in the comments that it's not available for the cherokee. I believe the chrysler 200 is on that same list - don't know why but it definitely sucks. Thanks for the positive comment. Several cherokee owners trashed this video because FCA doesn't support their vehicle - like it's my fault!

Hmm - The 3 things that I clearly indicate are possible with this adapter (remote start/unlock, vehicle location, and wifi hotspot) are still working flawlessly in my two vehicles after over two years of use. It was impossible for me to test every Uconnect feature at the time this video was released because the 3g service was still functioning in my area. It was only after the 3g services started going away that people started commenting about features that no longer worked. As with any old video, you should read through the comments to find out the latest information about the topic covered in the video before posting a "useless" comment.
