misha is such an awesome dude i met him when i was 17 and asked him a few creative questions like how to get over writers block. he told me 1) listen to the musicians that influence my favorite ones 2) try a different tuning i never forgot that. thank you, bulb

It's always been funny to me that Tesseract were so clearly ahead of the pack back in the mxtabs/musiciansforums/sevenstringforums days, but Periphery ultimately beat them to market by about 6 or 7 months. I always felt like Tesseract would have been the forerunners of the genre if they had put out Concealing Fate in 2008 or 2009.

Great to hear Misha talking about Fellsilent in 2023. I saw them live in 2006 and they were legit the tightest band I'd ever heard.
