Misha’s been struggling w me being too quiet in videos for two years now...... seeing that I was mic’d, it’s clear that we are gonna need to get better equipment ... Really though it’s clear that mine slipped out of place.

Thumbs up for this epic video! Really good quality! The only thing I would suggest is to use "cinematic" aspect ratios only on actual cinematic footage like the intro & outside shots. Inside shot (the actual review) is better watched in normal 16x9 aspect ratio. (at least that's what I think ^_^ )

Just beautiful! I do believe that no other review covers _all_ the driving styles and situations You put the car through with this level of no-nonsense and honesty. Most others I find either to be too "nice" with 0 details, or all details with 0 overall impressions or real-life driving. Top Gear came close, but they still didn't get the same range of real-life applications that this review does, and certainly not the same level of credibility.

Beautifully shot footage Tom (or others in the Media Team) , love the drone segments ! Watching two good mates discussing this awesome all rounder is a totally enjoyable experience. Would Audi fit Trofeo R's (or similar) and a big wing for a return 'ring session? I hope so after this favourable review! I do hope this 'ultimate review' is planned to be a permanent feature along with 'The Summit' which sure is a popular series to compliment your regular vlogs ! That's the best review of the R8 i have seen online. You covered all the necessary things. When you are Robert are together, it just works very well. And btw i too keep calling it rear wheel steering as it's the natural thing that comes to mind when you say RWS. lol.

Wow awesome job. The intro did a better job at showing off the car than Audi’s own adds. Only problem I had is Robert is too quiet as others have said.

That was a real ultimate review. Lots of info we want to hear. Video editing was very well put together. Sometimes audio was little bit too low, especially when Robert was using full helmet, but you could still hear things. Using ring and normal road for review is something new, at least i didn't found anyone who have such an option to do car reviews, which is very welcome. On the end of video i would still like to hear how much this particular car costs. VERI NAJS

Hands down the best car channel for performance enthusiast. I have followed this channel for some time and testing cars on the most famous legendary track in the entire world is just over the top. Thank you Misha for all of your content provided to the enthusiast community.

Really liking this format! You guys sure are lucky to have the Ring as a venue to review cars, and honestly, what better place than that? So many cars are developed and tested on the ring, making it a good benchmark to review and compare cars. Looking forward to many more and keep it up!

Really nice review, awesome intro ! Also the shots from the outside on the nordschleife are perfectly fitted into the lap. I would enjoy more footage from the outside. Maybe how the car handles the wippermann curb in slow motion or Pflanzgarten 1 and 2 jump!!

If Robert would consider buying an R8 RWS, then you know it comes highly recommended, not many people have his level of car experience in high end motors.

Agree with Auto Addiction, more of the nice 16x9 shots with cool music. Maybe short walk around as well. Overall very well, pretty informative!

You was always a little bit critical about Audis, but they borrow you this R8 anyway. And it's an impressive car. - Robert for his ability to analyse and drive smoothly (and fast). - For you Misha, to make every day a little bit brighter, it's always a pleasure and this new kind of review is very professional but also very "simple". Bravo. Next Car? Renault Megane RS and because I'm a Jaguar guy : XE Project 8 and F-type SVR :)

This is a really great review Misha. The only small criticism is to get Robert an open face helmet for the next one. But... great work! The cinematography in the opening piece is stunning.

I‘m no Audi guy but nice video, well done. A bit different to those who list up all the technical numbers (which honestly most of us already know). Think a good thing is to discribe how the car is on usual streets cause not many of us daily drive it on race tracks. Nowedays everybody is comparing the Nürburgring or Hockenheim times but in real life nobody cares about a few seconds faster or not. It‘s all about the emotions a car gives you while driving. And a lighter car with less power often gives you the bigger smile. So go on, the start was very good! Thanks! 👍

I've seen many..many...many reviews ! But god this one is classy af ! I don't know if because it's your first one, so you went full throttle... That scene at 11:13 was on point : I don't remember seeing a car dancing with classic music. You're doing like Petrolicious job but much longer, and that's good.

Really enjoyed the review. With all "racing" journalists it is always hard to judge where their limits are and how capable they are of finding the Cars limitations when it comes to Track use. By following your channel I fell much more comfortable with Roberts and your judgement since I have a better feeling of how capable both of you are. By the way. Is Robert also intending to do VLN Racing next year? I saw he is getting his license but I thought he once said he didn't want to do it. Keep up the awesome Work! P.S.: Will the Video about Ring Garage still be coming?

Audi do their own aero package for when you mentioned the car lacks a bit of downforce.

Great production! "A faster Golf ...", that's also what I thought :-) But's that's OK. Lots of people drive a Golf.

The conclusion is that Audi is a great entry level supercar.

No but serious what I would be interested is how "normal" cars handle in your opinion or older cars like a s2000 or an corsa opc for example, Cars that carmrades are actually able to buy. I mean yes the video about the r8 was amazing and interesting but I guess I'm not the only one who would be more interested in "cheaper" cars

The general rule with car reviews is a journalist (usually not really keen on cars, I would say) with scripts supervised by car manufacturers to try selling the car reviewed to the audience. And that isn’t the point of a car review, actually is to share the impressions and your opinions, comparing with similar models from other manufacturers, pros and cons, well, basically what you’ve done, Misha and Robert. How do you like the RWS compared to a AWD R8 V10 Plus? I tried the V10 plus and thought the steering feel was a bit isolated. does the RWS fix that?

Love the visual, great work on the car and behind the wheel. What disturbs me is the dramatic disco music as a background to many rolling shots etc. Not a fan of that, would prefer just pure car sound (because copyrights) or select a different genre of music from your music bank (or where these samples come from). It feels like a beach club ad instead of a review of the most badass Audi a person can buy. No hate, will watch further down the line because otherwise top notch!

Audi without quattro is like chocolate doughnut without chocolate. About review. As always camera movement, angles, color grading, montage is on point. Only thing that I would change is music in b rolls. Its probably copyright free and because of it it sounds a lot like other videos on youtube in which people didn't put even 1% of effort that Tom did in his edit. Other thing that for me personally would look cool is more shots from outside, like that one on safety driving centre, it was great :D In general video is amazing, Im not nitpicking, just suggesting as a viewer so maybe you can create even more amazing videos!
