When I came out this was the crown queens worked towards. But like its name sake it never evolved and fell to the waste side.

You do realize that last year had nearly 50 contestants at nationals, right? They’re looking at a similar turnout for this year as well.

@@AdaVox When the 1st alternate is added to the winner--is it really 50? Seems more like 25 contests being represented by 50 contestants.

@@steveh9769 this comment makes literally no sense. The 1st alternate and the winner have always been sent to nationals. It’s not a new thing.

@@butterbean3676 the pageant system will be forced to evolve as contestants show up to break the mould. Personally, I really love and appreciate the system because of the way it celebrates classic pageantry, and that is proven to continue to be important as the contestant numbers continue in the right direction. It shows how we can work towards the classic ideals of pageantry in the competition setting, while simultaneously using our reigns to showcase our own unique attributes to the system and the community at large as a symbols of excellence.
