Because I don't know a lot about the girls so far, these are the girls who have stood out to me so far (pre-arrival). I cannot wait to see the girls arrive in THAILAND and for the big show!

Zenbitch, Being smart has NOTHING to do with being able to speak English fluently. Remember Olivia Jordan of USA in MU 2015? She fumbled with her answer. Catriona is very smart because she is knowledgeable (well-informed), intelligent (high IQ), mature (knows things older people know), and articulate (knows the right word to use at the right time).

I so enjoyed this video, I've been watching the Miss Universe pageant since 1979 or so and the pageant like everything else has changed. The internet now allows us to research candidates before the competition- this was very difficult before. I agree with your predictions and I thought your comment on what happens behind the scenes and the weeks leading up the competition and how that can be a factor on whether or not a candidate makes it to the finals was very interesting.

@Happiness is a CHOICE. just in case you missed the first part she said in verbatim : "it was super amazing in the Philippines, the Philippines was such an amazing host", (isn't that praising?) also Cat represents PH and so sometimes candidates call them by country's name not their first name (well if they're not familiar with each other yet) haha and btw, it is obvious that i was also reffering to Cat . Thank you for your video! My problem with picking my Top 16 is that there are two lists: one with the geographic groups, and one without. You picked 5 from Asia/Africa, 10 from the Americas and only 1 from Europe. I’d actually like to see a Top 20. With 94 contenders, it would make the At-Large group more fair with 8 slots.

Personally, with 94 contestants, I would love to see 4 from Asia/Africa/Pacific, 4 from Americas, 4 from Europe, and then 8 At-Large. My List Asia/Africa/Pacific 1. South Africa 2. Vietnam 3.
