I missed it the first time. I reach the end and I was like "Where the heck is that cutscene from the opening?!". So I looked online for any info and I found out that you could find him in the school. Fortunately, I had a savefile from the Ueno part before going into the Empyrean, so I could load that and I watched it. It's one of my favorite scenes in the game so I'm happy about it.

Had a feeling the game wanted you to go meet him back in Tokyo after you last seen him in the netherworld. Anyone mashing through the dialogue definitely missed it. It’s a good scene and fleshes him out a bit more.

does this mean he is a descendant of the kuzunoha? at least it feels like it when i think back at it remembering the manga of devil summoner.

@@danielebranca7823 It is up for personal interpretation really. "Kuzunoha xxx" is just a title, not the character's actual name. So, Yakumo might be a decendant to Raidou or any one of the Kuzunoha.

@@darkness12682 The thing is that one did not expect that shock from Yakumo, I would not believe it until I had him in front of me and saw him. He tried very hard to demonstrate his disinterest in everyone and when I saw him surrender to the loss I thought his reaction was a little forced until I got to know him better through these scenes.

Guessing tiamat attack was mftl+++ and she could not react in time.

He was trying to take her down so that's why she died

It'd not uncommon in multi route fiction for one charachter to be neglected in one of the routes, its like complaining that a character doesn't get enough attention when in the current novel they dont really have a place in it

@@pugnome then just let.nuwa to die in the battle in Tokyo? That its the problem here, they just show us nuwa recovering for a mortal blow like it was nothing and then just get killed screen off, like i said i can understand characters not being important, but even with that in mind almoust all main characters in have the same or more detail between CoC and CoV, except for the gods represents of bethel, so the change on yakumo its just look and feel a rushed story where writer didnt know what to do with him.

@@Giadro1412-nx8ek I think you dont get it, yakumo stabs nuwa non fatally (mostly as a sign of his resolve) and then nuwa gets wiped out by Tiamat, rather different circunstances

I actually like yakamo in this game. Sure, he may have felt underused in CoV, but he actually has a really good narrative arc in CoV unlike CoC. He realizes that, yes, like Yoko said, he indeed was a hypocrite. He wants to rid the world of demons because of how evil and vile they are, and yet realizes that he needed a demon for it and that Nuwa was even selfless enough to save him.
