I hate it when Missi's family didn't want her to have a cat in the house! But I'm glad she got her birthday wish! And she decided to make the vampires Castle or permanent home with her new kitty! And who cares about what her family said about her having a cat? She deserves one is a friend! And like me she is a cat person and I still don't blame her! I'm happy for you Missi!😺

Few things are as comforting as your cat curling up in your lap while you enjoy yourself. Reading a book, playing a game, watching a show. When I saw the cat I immediantly wanted to cry cuz it reminded me of my own cat who was a stray who just was on my porch one day. I helped her get clean and fed and next thing I know I'm enjoying my days with a fluffy ball of chaos and I couldn't ask for more.

Until your legs start to fall asleep and you have to preform the gentle task of picking up the cat while keeping her is sleep position, move your legs around, and delicately place her back in your lap. I messed this up only once, but it made me sad when I did.

😢 yeah. My little rascal is a rescue. I walked into the office of the cat Sanctuary and he was in the quarantine cage bc he hadn't been fixed yet. He started talking the moment he saw me. Hasn't stopped being a silly, cuddly boy since I brought him home. He sleeps behind my head on the recliner while I'm reading or gaming. Sleeps on me when I fall asleep in the chair.

So that's how Minose slunk his way into Missi's life between Land of the Dead and Resurrection. Happy birthday Missi, and I understand well the longing for feline companionship. My family has had rescue cats for as long as I can remember; I aiming to adopt my own once I have my own apartment again. During my summer study abroad program this year (a decade later, since I couldn't do it in undergrad with my specific major), I haven't seen a single cat, on the street, in a window, roaming a park, or even just sitting around doing nothing.

This is just wonderful. Nice to see that even at that point, with all the bitterness and pettieness towards Duke, Missie still had a soft spot. Also, I noticed that both Missi and Minose should now have a somewhat messed up left eye.

This hit home. Wanting a cat is one of my oldest memories. It took till I was able to move out at nearly 30 years old before I got my first cat. As a real young kid my parents would say if you get x number of exams at least 70 or higher you'd get that cat son. And either pushed up the number or got me a game or a toy. Then they wondered why I stopped trying. Great way to motivate a kid with an undiagnosed learning disorder. So yeah that montage hit home hard.

My mom's friend tried it with nice timberland boots... I couldn't make it with my ADHD self. Kept failing their overly high expectations. And would get in trouble for sneaking books home from the school library... So as added incentive I was banned from the library by administrators... still didn't work. Took myself off the meds in jr. and senior year of high school. They had given up trying, and I passed with at least 3.0 both years.

I've been wondering how Missi got Minose. I like this. Other things I notice is how she tends to lean towards sci-fi works, which is a nice surprise. She's always been a cat person and how cruel that her parents never even let her have a cat in any way. I also got a lower opinion of her sister from this.

This is the most accurate wai to adopt a cat: he jump into your life and you just pic it up. Also, I love how her mother was so agenst her having a cat, and the first thing that she do for her self after she start to live on her on is adopting a cat. Even this, extrimlly accurate😂❤

In the beginning, Missi was all work, I cannot imagine how dry those robot books were! However in the end, with her beautiful kitty curled up filling hearts with joy, Missi picks up the vampire love story that turned the whole world's head. The love of a stray thawed Missi's heart! Poetic. Ty so much 💖

oh my god, I can't stop watching this video, it's so sweet and touching ❤️💖 It's very nice to see Missy so happy and caring, although it's very unusual to see her like that. I am glad that her negative emotions from meeting Duke have changed to such a sweet event as meeting Minos, an interesting contrast is that in Duke's castle Missy experienced both negative emotions and joy, because she found a long-awaited pet. Miss Cohen, One again, you created a beautiful masterpiece. This animatic give me, as viewer of “the Vampair series”, more details about a character, making them more like a real person. I believe in Missy like in real person, because those mini-animatic showed her different side, personal drama and a new piece of backstory. Also, I like the amounts of details, like the “Twilight” book, that originally brought her into Duke’s mansion, or this attention on the word “Robot”, maybe it’s detail for the future, heh. A nice little origin story for the cat. We learn where the cat comes from and where in the timeline it happens. The cat is there as early as when she revives Duke. So this is not long after she killed him.

I too am a cat whisperer! When I was little I've always loved the Aristocats! But sometimes I wish I could see the real life action version of that movie! I really want to probably see that movie in theaters with my family including my older sister as a gift! Probably a surprise thing or whatever!? Because the last time I try to have hope that the movie would be released I thought it was going to be released on Valentine's Day but it didn't and I was going to make it my Valentine's Day gift to my sister and my brother-in-law! I had to promise that I would make it the best time of our lives! And I don't care what's going on a Disney I am going to keep that promise! I just hope that in the year 2024 my sister and I and my brother-in-law and my father of course would be able to see that movie One Day! They did the same for Lady and the tramp so I think they should do the same for The Aristocats! But the one thing I always have is hope! Anyway sometimes I wish I could get a kitten for Christmas! But even if I did it won't be that easy! But the truth is I like making cartoons about kittens! My Aunt Mary Ann even called me a cattoonist! Pretty cute huh!? We cat people must stick together! A way I can tell when things in a series or something are marks/scars of the characters such as in this I can tell this takes place before the showdown due to Missi (however I like to refer to her as duchess since her lover is called Duke) still having both of her eyes and we learn in stuck with you that she lost her eye in that fight so it works as a chronological marker

Why am I crying? 😭 Reminds me of the story of me and my cat. I wanted a cat my entire childhood but my father wouldn't let me. I took care of a stray behind his back but the cat eventually stopped visiting ☹️ I was living with a boyfriend when we heard a meow in the hallway. We returned the kitty to the neighbor and discussed how we were thinking of adopting. The very next day, the neighbor knocked on our door with a kitten in his winter jacket. He had biked the entire way in the snow! We didn't say we were ready but we took her in and went to get supplies immediately. It has now been 10 years since then, right down to the month. It's hard to imagine a life without her now.
