Malzi you shoot the missile almost instantly when the tube is out of the Autoloader The Tube on the Shturm-S needs to rotate to the position where you aim,if not then it will fire it where its pointing I suggest waiting for it to turn and then fire,beside the Shturm-S is a phenomenal Sniper and Anti-Helicopter Missile carrier

Hull down is the way to go with these vehicles. Not really an option for city maps, but you can still find decent cover in some places.

I spaded the It-1 pre ATGM nerf and it was amazing fun. The Shturm, not so much. Looks like the former still holds up semi-well.

its the one of ATGM carrier that can fend for itself in pre ATGM nerf and before BR balancing, T54 hull, horizontal stabilizer, on the move shooting and over the top missile and fucking 15 at that

It's still fun. It's no longer usable in long range, but its 8 degrees of gun depression and low profile turret allow for close proximity combat.

More IT-1 content. Love to see it. Probably the BEST Missile Carrier in the game. Best Armor and has 9 DEGREES of Gun Depression. What's not to love and the Shturm-S is a'ight at best. It's only redeeming factor(s) are the fast thrust velocity and Tandem Charge. Still need to start on the Krizmantema, but I'm working on the Tunguska at the moment (and have been for 4 years.)

It-1 is the best?? What have you been smoking? It's slow, the rocket tends to have seizure at the distances over 100 meters, it's almost impossible to hit long-range targets especially if they hide hull and it doesn't have thermals. Best armor? What 200 mm of homogeneous armor in the thickest place save you from at 8.7? Only autocannons. It is way worse than shturm-s in every way apart from armor which missile carriers don't actually need.

After the nerf missiles, ground equipment, for which they were the main armament. It became very difficult for them to live! BMD-4, BMP-3, BMP-2. The autocannon was a strong ADDITION! I LOVED playing this technique in arcade battles, as they are fast and it was very fun and EFFECTIVE! 8-10 frags in one fight was a normal phenomenon, and now what? And now it is easier and more effective to use HE shells, on a permanent basis. The question arises, then why are they needed in the game?

Well blame the guy bringing them to the fight. Max BR for a WW2 tank is 6.7, missiles launchers come at 8.0 for the most part with IFVs, dedicated missile destroyers are 8.7-9.0+ If you bring a WW2 tank to this br you're just stupid.

@@soldatnr444 I said for the most part. BMP 1 is the only missile launcher at that tier now, and you have to grind to unlock actual atgms. I didn't say they were none at that tier. Plus it being 7.7 means you are gonna face it very rarely so it doesn't matter. And since only the Tiger II, Ferdinand, jagdtiger are concerned, they can tank it very effectively
